Lucky Koi Express Chinese Restaurant

I ordered takeout so I didn't really have the ability to give five stars for the atmosphere but I did anyway because my food was so good there has to be some kind of positive atmosphere going on in there. Being new to somewhere and gluten-free is always difficult but I'm very glad with the choice I made tonight. this food is delicious and beautiful in every aspect and I thank you greatly

been so long since i have had good gluten free chinese and this is the place..

I love this place! I use to order all the time but recently moved out of town but it was my anniversary and me and my partner adore this place so we made the drive. Better than ever! Despite me being gluten free and my partner isn’t, they love the gluten free food and say it’s the best they’ve ever had (gluten free or otherwise!). I also appreciate that the person at the front recognizes me when I come in and pick up :) very nice people!

Some of the best Chinese food I’ve had in the city! Was highly recommended by friends and I live down the street. Finally went and it surpassed my expectations. DELICIOUS. Flavourful, fresh, good protein, and not greasy. Love it.

Hands down the best chinese food place in Winnipeg. They will never know how much my family appreciates being able to order chinese food and confidentially know that when requested, everything will be gluten free and safe for our celiac daughter. We didn't think we'd ever be able to order chinese food again. This place and these people are just amazing. I drive from the other side of the city for this amazing food and will continue to do so. Lucky Koi express Chinese restaurant is located at one 1100 Portage Ave in the Wolsely area of Winnipeg. It’s a short five minute drive from Polo Park. The restaurant primarily takeout and serves delicious, hot Chinese dishes which have been a staple for many locals for years. Free street parking is available.

Fantastic gluten free menu with lots of choice. I've ordered from the gf menu multiple times, have never had any cross contamination issues & trust the kitchen completely. Best yet, choices of breaded & deep fried items! Wonton soup! Multiple noodle options! A great option for gf meals

As a celiac, I have now ordered from here several times, food is always fantastic, still hot (even though it located a distance from my place) and I have never gotten sick! Today was no different!!! Thank you lucky koi!

Friendly helpful staff and amazing gluten free options with a dedicated fryer. This place is one of my favorite gluten free choices in Winnipeg. Totally seperate menu with different item numbers make it extremely easy to order and they label every item so you know you are getting what you asked for.

Highly recommend this place. Pickup and delivery using an app as they don't always have a driver available.

Amazing place, good GF options

A completely gluten free menu offering so many tasty, freshly made dishes. They provide an excellent take out service.

The food was low quality and not much flavor,
The sauces tasted like jams with mostly sugar.
The steamed rice was ok, along with the chicken balls. But the other breaded chicken was soggy.

Not impressed with the food. Fried rice was tasteless and the ginger beef was soggy. Really disappointed because I expected so much more from the reviews that I read.

I visited Winnipeg from North Dakota and absolutely had to stop at Lucky Koi. I’m celiac and was so thrilled to find GF Chinese food. Totally amazing.
