Maggi's Syrian Food (seasonal Apr 1 to Oct 31)

I have to say, it felt like homemade fresh food. After a long time, I experienced that after eating from a restaurant. At the same time, this will be my go to place from now on as it's really close from my work location. The owner was a fantastic friendly guy, had a nice conversation with him. The food porton was great, priced accordingly and the food was super delicious and fresh. The owner even gave us two complementary extra canned pop!

We love this place! The staff is so friendly and willing to explain everything and the food is amazing. The chicken shawarma platter with saffron rice and salad was delicious and so full of flavour. Falafels are also outstanding. Highly recommend this place for delicious food, large servings & reasonably priced.

Needed lunch and decided to try a new place and it was Maggi’s! And it is seriously worth the drive to Transcona. Fries were nice and crispy and with the garlic sauce, it was a nice combo with the shawarma.

I had the OG Syrian chicken shawarma and it was a meaty wrap. I had gotten full after maybe like 3/4 pieces. They are generous with the chicken! Pickled cucumbers were tasty as well, can’t go wrong with the combo for $2.99 extra.

Setup is cute, it is a shared lot with DQ but Maggi’s has their own dedicated seating area as well. Would definitely come back and try their beef shawarma next time!

This is one of the best shawarma places in Wpg! I get the OG Syrian Chicken Shawarma wrap and with added hot sauce. I will crave this wrap when they close for the season! Amazing customer service as well. We got free desserts on our first visit just to try them out.

This is hands down the best shawarma platter I have ever had in my LIFE. Evrything is so well seasoned and delicious. Best part is it’s not dry!! Even the rice is juicy
