Mama B's Jamaican Patties

We stopped at Mama B’s Jamaican Patties at the East St. Paul Farmers Market today. First thing I can say is that the husband/wife team made our experience so much fun. They were friendly, personal, kind and genuine. The three patties we tried were hot beef, chicken curry and vegan. Immediately biting into them you notice the obviously fresh, flaky exterior (reminded me of the best pie crust). Inside were the delicious fillings that were seasoned perfectly and proportioned such that every bite let you taste the flavourful crust too. Amazing experience. Lovely people. Fantastic food.

Vegetarian options: Vegan option was available. Tried it. Very delicious.

Very very poor service on more than one occasion with average at best food. Was initially very excited to try this product but due to very poor service and food that really wasn't too special I will take a pass on future orders. Too bad :(

Had our first meal from our first order and these are delicious! Super impressed with the flaky pastry and the filling is just spicy enough. Definitely will order again and the home delivery was fantastic!

5/5 will order again. Fully recommend. The to-your-door delivery and excellent costumer service are just the start. These are the best Jamaican patties I’ve had. The pastry is light, flaky and crispy. The filling is juicy and packed with wonderful flavour. My only regret, I should have ordered 2 dozen.
