Had a chance to stop in with my Mom for Lunch and they had the most delicious home cooked Burger I've ever had, normally you need condiments like ketchup and mustard to make a burger feel complete but not here, It was so flavourful and cooked perfectly, My Mom had the Mushroom and Wildrice soup and it was amazing, Absolutely would recommend,

The coffee was also perfect!

The food was amazing. Everything about the place is so relaxing and peaceful. Loved all the artwork as well!

This place is low quality and the workers are overpaid for the amount of work and care they have for the customers.

Plus who cooks eggs till they are brown and crispy and then brings it to someone?
Lol the servers here need to learn how to do there jobs.. Brooke is disrespectful.
Said I was yapping. Wouldn’t ring me out I sat and waited at front desk the servers and staff just walk away… so I left a 20$ bill and left no tip or anything.

A manager walked by she was on her personal phone. I asked for help and she said I don’t work at the restaurant. Walked 20 more feet sat down at the computer and was doing nothing…

I see people walk around and talk 90% of the time they are being paid. They have managers and higher paid staff sitting around playing games on computers and just talking. Nobody is working. They are on their phones.
Why do you need so many people on the pay roll when nobody is doing any work. No customers around but you got 12 workers standing around doing nothing everytime i come here…
I see Canadians hard working tax payers money is going to this garbage place…
Sad to see this great country become so lazy and incompetent.

Not coming back. Just another corporate sinkhole.

Went for a working lunch and low and behold it was fish Friday! We had a pickerel lunch each and also shared the corn and baloney fritters. The service was friendly and welcoming. The decor was very nice. I'll be back for the Cafe and to check out the gift shop at the hotel as well!

What a hidden gem! We had the Bison Chili and Bannock Taco which were both delicious. The bannock had the PERFECT crunchy-outside soft-inside. Restaurant atmosphere was bright lit and elegant, with the most comfortable seats I’ve sat on in a restaurant. Will be coming back for brunch!

We stayed at the hotel for 2 days, a staycation for us. The food did not disappoint! We had bannok bison tacos and pickerel, "hangover" soup to start. It was amazing. The bannok was the best I've ever tasted! Our waiter was fabulous. The whole experience was fantastic! Great atmosphere, service and food. We will be back even if we aren't staying at the hotel.

Excellent food in this hidden restaurant. I had a house burger with fries and while the burger was great the shoestring fries were excellent!

A hidden gem serving amazing Indigenous dishes. Opens on Mondays.

My partner and I were looking for an indigenous restaurant for dinner. This was about the only indigenous restaurant that's open on a Monday so we had to go here -- and we're darn glad that we did.

The restaurant is located in a beautiful First Nations hotel, which is itself a hidden gem located a bit off the main roads. The indigenous dishes look like fine dining and taste fantastic. The pickerel is a must-try and the Bannock Taco is seriously tasty beyond our expectations. Portion size was great too.

Our server Amanda, as well as the other server Hope, are both very courteous, and especially well-spoken toward guests of all ages, making the restaurant a family-friendly and pleasant experience.

Manoomin Restaurant deserves way more 5-star reviews.

Kid-friendliness: Server here certainly knows how to speak to children!

We ordered pan fried Pickerel Fish Cheeks, bison poutine and drinks. Service was superb and the dining experience was Gen Z Traditional.

Parking: We found parking ????️ directly in front and there were plenty of parking spaces for those who are very mobile!

Wheelchair accessibility: We parked in front, found a spot for Grandmother Martha to have excellent access. The staff were incredibly respectful to her and let her be seated until opening at 5pm. Thanks ????????

This place is a scam. After asking if we had a treaty card, they switched rooms on us and we only found out by going to the room. We were then told they'd overbooked the suites and charged more for a standard room than we'd booked a suite for online. If it weren't for the fact is was late and way past our kids bedtime, we would have walked right there. Even though we cancelled the remaining nights, they're still trying to charge my husband's credit card for the full booking and then some.

Food was good, service was very poor the manager on shift had no respect for the elderly but the waitress Maddison was excellent. But ultimately will not be returning anytime soon I never leave reviews but after that I made an account smh and the whole not being able to order kids food for the elderly is ridiculous! Hope they make changes…

Dietary restrictions: Father can’t eat big portions and wasn’t aloud to order kids meal.
