I went to this restaurant in Osborne alone at Luna's suggestion. I ordered food. Variety. Chicken and rice with pork and baijiu drink. Thank you Luna, she was very attentive to me. I will go there again.

It's pan-asian food and they do it well enough. I think the pricing is the weakest point as much smaller pan-asian joints are about the same or less for a better, more consistent product.
This review is really about a delivery I just had and I was blown away by how good it was, but I would also like to add that I’ve been inside the lounge to eat numerous times!!
Always greeted with A friendly smile and the Hostess is the epitome of Someone with a “touch of class”.
Why did I go there in the first place…?
It was for the food!!!! Let me tell you!! The satisfaction i experienced from my latest, on time and expertly handled delivery, is why I’m In love with “Marigold On Osborne”.

The food was delicious! Not only that, the owner was very friendly and my experience eating here was great. I will definitely be coming back for dinner in the future.
Tried this place for the first time. Did not dine in. Enjoyed the food. Will try other stuff next time as they have a huge menu,
The food was great. It was not greasy like the old portage Avenue restaurant! I didn’t even know Marigold was still around! But this location, the cook did a great job nothing greasy everything cooked perfectly. Maybe the breaded veal slightly well done. I definitely would stop here again if in the area. Had a quick lunch. I really liked that it wasn’t as greasy as most!
My friends got sick from this place would not

My first time at Marigold’s was an extremely disappointing experience. Firstly, the consommé soup had good flavour but was unbearably salty that I could not even sip at it without being overwhelmed by the salinity. It could be diluted as much as 1:1; that’s how salty it was. I ordered the Combo M (fried rice, chow mien, sweet and sour shrimp and chicken, egg roll, BBQ pork). The fried rice had an unpleasant fishy, gamey taste from the first bite. It wasn’t the type of fishy flavour that comes from fish sauce or other seasonings. It was the fishy flavour that arises from some improperly prepared meat (if you are familiar with that “gamey” taste). The sweet and sour chicken and shrimp were covered in a thick, stodgy paste-like layer of batter. The BBQ pork was fridge cold and incredibly dry. The server relayed from the chef that it was supposed to be served cold. I’ve never experienced BBQ pork like that, but nevertheless, the flavour was also gamey and bland at best. The chow mien and the egg roll were nothing special, but were the only things on the combo platter worth eating.
The service was fine and the restaurant was clean and orderly. It was just the food that was the problem. I love Chinese cuisine and want to support local businesses as much as possible. However, unless the food at Marigold’s drastically changes, I don’t see myself returning or recommending it at all.
I only picked up the dry breaded veal. I used to live in Winnipeg 30 years ago and loved this dish. So that's all I had. It was excellent, but I can't speak for any of the other food or the service.
Parking: Not many spot available in their lot. The rest is very difficult to find on a residential street and a busy main drag.

Restaurantji Recommends
The restaurant changes their operational status, so it close upon arrival.
Awesome food! Very tasty and prompt! David Is a great host, very personable and friendly. Great family run restaurant! I recommend highly. (ask for the hot and sour soup! Yum!)

The server was kind, however the kitchen seemed upset about us making an order, they close at 11 and we came at 10:02. We ordered the combination plates and the pork ribs were cold and everything tasted mediocre. What upset us was the chow mein we were served in the combination plates. It was this sticky, bitter, icky & slimy salad with these breadsticks on top. When we asked what this was we were told this was the chow mein and that the breadsticks were the noodles?? I wouldn’t reccomend coming to this marigold, I’d recommend the inkster one. Also odd how they had casino slots in the restaurant.

I can't believe the lack of flavor. I think the days are up for this restaurant, these canadian 4th gens are not ringing in the taste for me. The slots are what keeps this place going. Don't be fooled.
