This is where I wanted to have dinner with my family for my birthday. So glad it did happen, so proud of being a Filipino. Thanks again for the Ice cream treat :)
The trio was excellent ( rice, choice of pancit, choice of sinigang plus crispy pata), the price very affordable
Sarap to the bones
the service crew are very good specially the manager. Thank you!
Had my son’s first birthday here. Food was good and the guests loved it. The coordinators, Frank and John were very accommodating and helped us decorate the area.
Overall we had a very pleasant experience. If I would make one complaint it would be that the food didn’t have any labels on it, even though we requested for it ahead of time. Many of the guests were non Filipino and not familiar with the food, kept asking questions.
We will be looking forward to booking parties in the future. Thank you.
1.5 hours waiting for a table. Promised 1 hour for food to be prepared. Followed up after 1.20 hours and came back with food in less than 10 minutes. The food was cold (rice, karekare and chicken), and No utensils; I asked for utensils after a few moments_ but they said there were no available utensils yet. It took us less than 30 minutes to eat. I went directly to the staff for containers and for the bill, but there was no staff on the floor, so I needed to do a search. We went there at 1130am and left at 330pm. What a waste of time.
Had our daughter’s baptism reception at Max’s and everything went beautifully. The team there was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process (planning to execution, and event post event follow up). Very professional and kind team.

The best Filipino restaurant in Winnipeg. First place we consider when we crave for yummy and authentic Filipino food. Today, we tried their ultimate bundle and everything included in it was really good especially the pancit (with bihon & canton). We also ordered our favorite fried chicken and fresh lumpiang ubod. The kids also enjoyed the soup of the bulalo. Their servings were really good for sharing or for people with good appetite like us :). The service was also excellent with our server Eleesse. A great experience as usual!

Waited more than half an hour for our platter order only to find out that our order wasn’t sent to the kitchen. They say it’s because it got busy but there were at least 7 empty tables. They compensated and gave us complimentary chicken and sisig. Still the 1-star is for the incompetence. Also, their halo halo is the worst halo halo I have ever had — mostly jellos. Do not buy. Not worth it.

The restaurant somehow brings back the taste of home, the Philippines. We loved the ambience and service. However, the food is not the same. Fried chicken is too hard to chew on some parts of the chicken meat as the chicken might have been fried for too long. Also, sizzling tofu lacked the sauce as it supposed to be. The experience overall can be good if not for the food quality.
Kid-friendliness: They have a lot of high chairs for families with kids.

First time here, went with family. Good tasty food options, but seriously check the price before you get it. Wish there were more servers.
