I was dissapointed. We purchased 2 different cakes (strawberry and caramel ones) and 2 types of buns - and they all went to a garbage bin.
The cake rolls were just some tasteless sponge covered in thick layers of butter cream made apparently not from butter but from the cheapest variety of margarine. The strawberry one was additionally dipped into strawberry jam, definitely not homemade, but the very basic one, a cheap grocery store type - artificial and overly sweet.
The buns were just plain white bread, with some sweet icing on top or inside. The icing had no taste whatsoever, only simple sugary sweetness.
My kid was able to do just a single bite each item before spitting them out.
I will never come back.

We always come here as it is near my workplace. They always make fresh bread and cakes. They have lots of different kinds of buns and some sweets. My favorite is the pineapple custard bun, coconut macarons, bbq pork bun and mochi! They also have fresh mango cake. They don't make a lot so whatever they have that day are guaranteed fresh. When it's gone it's gone! Just try again the following day. Highly recommended and lovely owners!

We ordered mango mousse cake. Tasted horrible, the coloring used in the icing was so bad that it stained my hands after being in-touch for a few seconds. Disappointed.

I prefer eggless cake. Though they have limited options. But they taste so good whatever they make.

My mom and the family are obsessed with the cakes. It’s not too too sweet, it’s very comfortable to eat and the designs are soo cute

Ordered and picked up a cake on Sunday July 14th. Saved the cake to eat for July 15th and it had moldy fruits. Disappointed. Quality is so poor and they don’t use fresh ingredients.

Small shop and I had made my choices and the man rung them up just to find out you couldn't tap. So I didn't get anything as I only had my phone.

Authentic Cantonese pastries with a long history in Winnipeg’s China Town. A go-to favourite with the local Cantonese community for their buns and pastries, but also for their durian and fruit cakes for birthdays and other celebrations. Highly recommend the pineapple bun, coconut bun, and the egg tarts. Also highly recommend going when the buns are freshly baked in the mornings. Just have to remember they accept cash only.
