⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Incredible!

Just ate here and WOW. The food blew us away! We ordered the calamari and it was hands-down the best calamari we’ve ever had. Sherry was our server and she was amazing she recommended almost everything we ordered and every suggestion was spot-on.

It was our first time here, and we’re honestly sad they’re closing this Sunday. My girlfriend kept saying she wishes she had discovered this place years ago! The filet mignon was unbelievably good — it literally melts in your mouth. SO flavorful and perfectly cooked.

What an unforgettable experience. If you get the chance to come before they close, do it!

4 days left! Closing Sunday Nov 23 get the calamari! One of the only restaurants that do it proper! Fantastic food, you can taste the fresh herbs. Savoury soups the pickerel was beautiful the veal cordon bleu was crispy gravy ham and cheese melted on top steak Oskar is amazing! Baked potato they come and add sour cream fresh green-onions and chopped bacon! This place will be missed! Hats off to the chef!

My first time here in this restaurant. I was really put off by my server and if I asked her a question then she kept snapping at me. I was very uncomfortable with her behavior. I ordered casear salad which had no cheese on it just few Romain lettuce with few croutons and lemon on the side. They taxed us on the tip part as well. Tip was added before taxes were calculated. I questioned her on it then she snapped I can remove the tip instead of answering my question. I am kind of glad they are closing down because if this is how they serve. The restaurant itself looks nice. The service was horrible.

We are so sad that MAXIMES is closing. My husband and I have been dining there since it originally opened as newlyweds. We have celebrated many milestones of memories as well as many other “just because we love the place dinners.” We always had amazing food and service at a great price. So sad we won’t be able to dine there one last time before they close due to high demand. There is no other restaurant in Winnipeg that comes close to Maxime’s who offers a friendly family environment and amazing food at a price anyone can afford. Wishing you a happy retirement. You will be missed.

My Family hadn't been there in a few years and we decided that we should make a reservation and have everyone join us before Maximes is gone forever. But they are so arrogant, they can't be bothered to answer the phone anymore. The Website says you have to reserve by phone only, so make a change on your website to advise the change or let it go to Voice Mail and let people know you aren't taking reservations. I wasted all my time trying to organise this night out, and must have called 30 times before someone alerted me they aren't answering any calls. Bye Maximes!
