My husband and I try to go at least once a summer! The food is incredible! Make sure you get the Pane Fritto as an appetizer and even though you might be full after your meal, dessert is definitely worth it! The staff are so kind and we look forward to eating here every year!

Amazing first time experience here! We ordered 4 pizzas and a big caesar salad. One of the best pizza's in Winnipeg i've ever had! The Mona Lisa special had really nice big chunks of ham and veggies. I had the pleasure of seeing their kitchen in action last night. Everything in this restaurant is home made!! Pizza dough made fresh at 3pm daily, noodles are made from scratch and cut in a traditional italian machine for spaghetti, linguini etc. Little things like the croutons and salad dressing are all homemade. High quality food cooked by a real italian family from Calabria! Joe the owner and his mother were both in the kitchen last night carrying on their recipes and delivering quality food! 10/10

Don't go here unless you are dressed to impress. I went after stitches for a birthday supper and both my mother and I were not treated like the other customers. Specifically, because we didn't blend in with the casual flock. And we were the first to arrive but were tended to after a second set of customers went in, they were greeted with water and menus while we got nothing for over seven minutes. Great food awful service.

The food was good, the ingredients were very fresh and the bread was a delight. The shrimp were cooked to perfect, although the capellini and sauce wasn’t quite as flavourful as I would like. Service was excellent, although the table was quite small. Would recommend.

Had a great first visit, amazing server (Tim) that was attentive and helped pick our dishes and drinks. Food was exactly what I was hoping for. I look forward to the next visit!

Food was good. Able to serve gf pasta to my wife. As a recovering alcoholic getting served the an alcholic beer when I asked for a non alcoholic beer was not cool. Waiter took my non alcoholic off the bill but then joked about buying me a beer under regular circumstances. I didn't cause a fuss there because I didn't want to ruin everyone's good time.
Ordered spinach caneloni and got pork.
Paying attention to details are important.
Charged a 18% gratuity for 7 people even though their menu says 8 and up.
By the way there is no dress code....
They say business casual but they mean REALLY casual.
For people who remember a fine dining experience at Mona Lisa restaurant this is not that anymore. Still good food but not a great restaurant for a celebration
with significance.

We have not been at Mona Lisa for some time love the smaller new look.
We are so glad we stopped in and will become regulars.
Tim our server created a space for us to enjoy his company as he served us. It is so important that a server makes it feel like he is welcoming guests to a meal. Just as it is important that guests welcome servers into conversations to show you care about them.
The food was incredible and we will be back many more times.

First time visiting. Spectacular friendly courteous caring pleasant hard working staff. Everything was beyond expectations. Having a severe allergy to garlic and other strict restrictions for medical reasons , they made sure I was able to eat something. The chef modified salmon with grilled veggies. Was delicious !
