Friendly Staff, but we were never told what the costs were. On Kenaston Blvd in Wpg. Right beside the starting point to prepare our meal, there was a salad bar, there were no signs saying it was extra at all, we took a few items from salad bar, which was scarcely filled however and then went for our main meal, with very tiny bowls. Warning signs all over to not place on a platter just the bowls. When my meal was cook I had half a bowl only. Then we were charged almost $4 for a drink and $5.99 for a tge measly salad which we were never told it would be extra. Just down the road one block we could have lunch at an all you can eat chinese food restaurant for less cost including a drink. This is way too expensive place to eat.

I always love Mongo's, if you know what you like and how to achieve it then the food will always be a 10/10, even so it is still fun to try new things and mixes. The staff weren't as enthusiastic on the day of my most recent visit, but it was still just fine, our waitress had a good sense of humor which is always nice. I've never had a bad food experience here, they always cook everything just right and they are always well equipped with ingredients. I strongly recommend it!

Usually top notch. Last time we went all three of our meals over cooked. Chewing the meat was like chewing an old work boot. Couldn't even eat half of it. Went across lot and ate at canadian brewhouse. I'm not trying be hard out of spite. Just calling it the way it is.

All the crab meat was stuck to the grill and I only had a few tiny pieces after cooked. My husband’s noodles were stuck to the grill and he had very little after cooked. I told the server and nothing done. I emailed the manager with specific details and have not received a response. The restaurant was not busy. July 2025.

Food and most of the people where real nice and good people. Then you have the odd person who disregards all normal decency and encourages his/her children to fill up the plates more, pasta, rice and meat is already falling of both sides to the ground, no you have to have more....is that necessary? I don't think so. That does not appeal to anybody. There is enough to be had on a second trip. Great staff and guys who prepare the food. Ring the bell people.!!!!

When I entered people where seated before us then we were served by. Vary rude! When we would ask for water or napkins or utensils he would say yes and not come back to are table we had to chase after him for them it was clear that he did not want to serve us the other servers around us where not interested in helping us then when we asked for take out containers because he could not finish are food there was 5 adults and 4 kids he said we couldn't have 5 containers we were allowed 3 and for us to read the rules in the front then he said we needed to talk to manager and the manager said that we were rude to his servers and that was not called for then he told use to get up and leave as he was laughing at us so we did he pointed at the door so we left and because of the commotion other customers told use to just leave which was embarrassing so then the other servers toke photos of my wife's car and us but we were not paying for it my daughter was paying for father's day negative five stars i would tell everyone to not go there
