I was introduced to Mountain Bean by a friend, and from the very first visit, I was blown away by the exceptional staff. Every team member here is friendly, welcoming, and truly goes above and beyond to make you feel at home.

While all of the employees are wonderful, I want to give a special thank you to a few people who’ve really made my visits extra enjoyable: Kate T, Haiden, Emily, Rori, Sydney, Kaity, and Annika. Your kindness, hospitality, and the amazing coffee you make mean a lot to me.

They actually have good coffee here. I drink my coffee black and appreciate good coffee. I can't even drink the garbage served at the big chain places like TH's or Ronald's.

A great neighborhood coffee shop with friendly staff!

Our drinks were good, and the atmosphere is nice and cosy. But the service from the cashier who doesn’t have their hair tied back could be improved. I would appreciate being greeted.

My spouse and I used to come here weekly when he’d take me out on my lunch break (when I worked closer, a couple of years ago). We came here regularly because the chicken quesadilla was the best. Today we went back for the first time in over a year and we were so excited to have the chicken quesadilla again. But then when we each got our quesadillas, they looked like this. They looked and tasted as if they’d been kept in somebody’s back pocket for the day. There was 2-3 tiny cubes of chicken in each quesadilla, and there was pretty much no cheese throughout. We paid $30 to have lunch and literally just ate toasted tortillas. Super disappointing.
We might try it again just incase the person who made these had a sad day. Hopefully this is not the new norm… if it is a way to cut costs, I’d much rather pay an extra couple of bucks as opposed to... This. Sorry for my quesadilla rant.
Otherwise, a great place!

Mountain Bean is hands down my favorite coffee shop in Winnipeg, Manitoba. i love this place so much i am there 6 times a week

Coffee shop atmosphere was very nice, the fire place was a nice touch. I needed cream for my tea and the canister was at the end of the counter where you’d pick up an order. Girl that was working there barely acknowledged me when I asked if I could use it, she seemed preoccupied with the guys she was talking to. The canister was empty and didn’t have cream, I went up to see if it could be filled but girl at counter seemed more interested in her conversation. I gave up.
