We have been going here for years. Last order we were charged twice with there debit machine. I went to the restaurant to show the owner, but they refused to give us any kind of refund. We were even ok with taking a gift card to right the wrong, but again they were not willing to do anything. How messed up is this to lose a customer over $70.00.

Food is very Bland and no flavour.

Is this the best Chinese food in Winnipeg? Probably not. But is this the best value for Chinese food in Winnipeg? No question.

A medium soup and a dish to share over rice for two goes for less than $15 per person (it usually costs us less than $12). Food tastes like it’s homemade and hits the spot every time. I hope this place never raises their prices.

Ordered dinner for delivery which I have done a dozen times before.

Was told it was an hour

Phoned after 1 1/2 hours and was told it was just coming off the stove

Over an hour later it shows up.

Interac machine would not work.

Over and over

Called there as was getting pissed.

She insulted me and said, give her $5 off,

Nope, I said no that is not acceptable, I am refusing the food. $40 I offered $30 They refused so i refused the food.

Had I been in the restaurant I would not have sat for over 2 and a half hours.

I am disheartened by their treatment and regret ever suggesting them to many I know.

Treat people with respect, Do NOT take your customers for granted or you will have none.

The last time I ordered I had to throw out the soup and the food was not up to par.

Gave them another chance, they are out of chances.

They do not value or respect their customers. Food has gone down hill the last few months. I suspect new owners I waited over 2 and a half hours for an order they said would be an hour. Refused the order and will never order from there again.

We went there to celebrate Chinese New Year! If you have a big order, please make sure you call ahead as the wait time could be quite long! Nice service and cozy environment! Super reasonable price!!

Excellent dishes that were generous and flavourful and delivered hot at a very reasonable wait time. Great choice for gatherings. Staff are also very friendly. My favourite dishes are the eggplant with garlic and black bean sauce, two kinds of mushrooms and vegetables, and the vegetable fried rice. Looking forward to ordering again soon! ?

A great place to have dinner or lunch. The ambient of this place is really interesting and gives out vintage vibes. The food is very delicious and very much flavorful. They go really balanced on their spices unless you want your spices to be controlled according to you. There was a woman who served us and she is really helpful with ordering and choosing your food. We were also served consomé soup before our dinner was served. I really enjoyed my food here.
