They are soo successful that being open for breakfast or dinner is not necessary.The hole in the wall interior always brings back memories and honestly, I hope it never changes. Staff is attentive, friendly and the customers are a mix from business men to high school students to foodies. I have been raised on the food here since I was a child and always thought of it as my secret spot until I realized almost everyone I know went there.Spare Rib Rice, Shrimp Dumpling and Fried Peking Perogies are the only items I order and make sure you try the hot sauce. I can't explain why but it's such a perfect combination of sweet, salty, savory and borderline umami. If it's your first time, try the Beginners Plate to set yourself up for adventurous orders in the future.I highly recommend New Hong Kong to anyone with an open mind, heart and stomach haha. It's at times a hit or miss based on expectations, but you'll be hooked once you get past the exterior and concentrate on the food.

Fantastic as always! Keep hoping they'll reopen the dining room but don't think that's in the cards. Still more than worth the trip to pickup.

Great authentic food from a restaurant that has been open for over 55 years.
It looks closed from the outside.
They are doing takeout only since COVID.
You can call in advance with your order to get them to start making it so it's ready when you arrive. Very affordable and filling.
