1st time ordering...I was hoping by some of the previous reviews that my experience would mirror theirs ...but $61 ($71 with tip) for 2 xl " specialty" thin crust pizzas is a little steep...especially when the crust is overcooked . Service was in the quoted time frame and the staff are friendly . No repeat business from me .

Used to order from here, but haven’t over the last year or 2. It was always excellent pizza. I ordered tonight and I was very disappointed in the pizza. It was EXTREMELY Greasy. They use to use fresh mushrooms, but this time my pizza was full of canned mushrooms which really downgrades the pizza over all. Wings were pretty good. Hopefully they switch back to fresh mushrooms and less grease.

Came back into town after many years.. I had to eat at Niakwa pizza on McLeod ave, down from the Super Store. Let me tell you.. the owner and staff were amazing. So friendly and eager to please. The owner was so dedicated and proud of his location - i saw it when talking with him. I ordered a Medium Pizza. Wow.. i have eaten pizza at thousands of places all over the world. i have had some very good pizza and many not so good just to fill me up. Niakwa on McLeod was the best pizza i have had in many, many, many years. 4 days later and i am still thinking about it. The curst was thin.. cracker thin yet still soft a bit on the inside. the sauce is a brown sauce - looks like a beer sauce, was awesome. The toppings were high quality and just the rigt amount of toppings. Well balanced. I love this pizza. im positive if you try it you will too. The price is a premium price and i was a bit hesitant at first, but after eating the pizza, it was well worth it by far. i will order the large this weekend. MMMM i can still taste it. DELICIOUS!!!!! Thank you to the owner and staff for such great service and the best pizza in Winnipeg.

The staff are amazing, very nice and they such a great job listening to their customers!! I wanted 2 pizzas uncooked and uncut so I could cook them myself at home and they did a fantastic job making it the way I needed it! Also, it was obviously well prepared because when I cooked it at home, it was just as delicious as picking it up fresh out of the oven. Thanks guys!!!

What is going on with the pricing? Used to have bad experiences with the quality of the Mcleod location. The Elizabeth Road location never seemed to miss.Then I decided to try the Mcleod location again one day and the guy on the phone was a different voice and said they're new owners. He assured that they were raising the bar on quality there and it seems they did. The pizza was way better so ordered a couple more times.Then I called today and it sounded like the same lady that used to be there before. She gave me a price $8 more than it should have been. When I asked why she said the prices on the website were wrong but if I wanted that price I'd have to order on the website. I was firm and just said No, that doesn't make any sense. There's nothing written in the site, prices are the same at every location, so we are not paying some arbitrary price than what's advertised. And this is the first time anyone's ever tried this on us. Then she goes "Oh, today only we have a special price if you pay with cash."Like really? What an unbelievably ridiculous cover. This isn't the first time this woman has been difficult to deal with. Also, when the quality of the pizza was low years ago at this location it was also a woman with an Asian accent. I can only assume it's the same person as the tone sounds exactly the same as well.What is going on with almost every pizza place now? It's seems impossible to get a reliable order with decent service. One thing I can say for Niakwa is at least they answer their own phones instead of having some stupid call service like other pizza joints.Think I will be trying the Transcona location next time for Niakwa.

Tried it last week for the first time and had to go back the next day. I always want a nice crisp thin crust and this delivered this exact pizza. Loved it and the 2nd night they accidentally messed up on my pizza and they fixed the problem with no hassle. I def recommend and would be back. One con would be the website listed green olives but when I called there was none and also canned mushrooms but I will be back cause I love it overall.

1st time ordering about 1 month ago. So glad I did! Whoever answered the phone was diligent and made sure my pizzas were made perfectly. My mom had one as well. In comparison to other pizza joints, this is top notch and on par with the like of a couple other places I used to order from. I usually have 2-3 pieces, my mom only has 2-3 as well, but we ate HALF...each! I couldnt believe it!. Tasted to good not too! Ordering again today! Keep up the good work niakwa, I'll be a regular for sure!

Called and placed an order to pickup. Told 30 minutes. We had been driving for hours and decided to go directly there to pick it up. We arrived 10 to15 minutes early. Was told it was not ready yet. Fair as we were early. Went out to the car to wait. Go back in after 30 minutes was up. I was then told it won't be ready for another 30 minutes. Really!! I got very frustrated. He kept saying sorry we are busy. Not a problem if he would have just told me originally. I leave go home and return after another 30 minutes only to be told. Sorry my brother told me not to make the pizzas. WOW! So not only did it take twice as long as first quoted they decided not to make it after all. I am usually the most patient person, but that just pushed all my buttons today. Suggestion. Find some more help. With only 2 people making pizza and 1 is delivering pizza does not make for a very good practice. If you are busy. It is better to say that orders will take longer than to make customers unhappy when they arrive and have to wait another 30 plus minutes.
