Amazing food! Delicious buns for the sliders made fresh daily. Soups are made from scratch! Service was great and the restaurant was very clean!

Great experience, incredible sandwiches. I’ve head the soups are great too. I can’t believe this place has been here for 10 years and I’m just now finding it.

The sandwich is a Northern Italian inspired flat bread, with fresh veggies, a perfect combo of cold cuts, a very special sweet mustard and all made in-house. The bread has a thin layer of crunch with a soft bread centre, light and low volume. Also shocking, a quality downtown sandwich under $10.

Get out there, try one of these beautiful sandies and support local;)

I love this place! The sandwiches are so good and I always like the different soups they have. The service is always so good, I like the family vibes. The owner (Nick) and his mom are always there and they are both so friendly. When I was there recently, there was a really rude woman yelling at the lady at the front about the soup not being vegetarian (it was), and she handled it really well. I’d definitely recommend the German potato, or cream of vegetable soup when they have it on the menu!

Extremely disappointed, came to ask for a vegetarian soup and they served me a non-vegetarian soup with sausage in it. I came back a week later to ask them if that soup was vegetarian and to confirm(I was also about to order More sandwiches), and they told me it had sausage in it after they had sold it to me and told me it was vegetarian!! I Explained to the lady In front (one of the owners) of my situation and she told me she would never do that which she did. I feel completely invalidated As a customer and not to mention, she was extremely rude talking back to me when I was explaining to her what happened. I will not be coming back.

Terrible communication and customer service. The lady older with the Winnipeg bombers hat is insanely rude. I left not ordering anything very upset that I’ve been lied to about A soup they’ve served me and an ingredient inside of it. Do better

Put your menu on your website. What do you think people come to a restaurant website for other than that?

Very delicious food! Support local establishments! The menu is small and changes day to day. Perfect lunch size portions for 3 to 7 dollars.

Says it’s open online but sign on door said it’s closed. There has to be a way to update online so people don’t drive to other side of city to find them closed.

Nicks is one of the best places for lunch downtown. They have a great budget bites menu with tons of affordable and tasty a la carte options. You can have soup and a sandwich for under $10. The truly exceptional part though is the flavour and quality.
