OEB Breakfast Co is ridiculously expensive. You have to spend over $20.00 for just eggs, bacon and toast. Dont forget the GST and PST taxes you have to pay on top of that, so your overall cost for a basic breakfast will be roughly $25.00. The coffee is terrible, for some reason they do not put sufficient cream or sugar or make the coffee too strong. Save yourself having coffee here and go to McDonalds where it is $1.00 plus tax, and the coffee is so much better. Have McDonalds trio breakfast for $5.60 where you get a sausage mcmuffin, hasbrown and coffee that tastes great, instead of th8s fancy shanty place that's a total ripoff. Many of the dishes are lacklustre. They spend more time decorating your plate, rather than focusing on how to enhance food flavor. The food is OK, mediocre at best, the taste simply is not there. The atmosphere is nice, I think that's why people come to this establishment. Service is sometimes good, at other times it's lacking. This is my honest review. If a place is great, food tastes great, service is fast, I will give any place kudos, if it's crap, then I will be honest and say the place is a ripoff.

Had the avocado toast with eggs, it was great but for $24 you would think its 2 pieces of toast.... too bad because service was great

I eat a gluten friendly diet and I loved the breakfast tacos. The mango smoothie was divine. Madeline was so thoughtful and efficient! Will return 😀

A little bit noisy, but great food and service. Lobster and Shrimp Poutine highly recommended. Lox over omlet with whole grain toast a close runner up.

Visited on August long weekend 2025. Quieter than usual and food was fantastic! Validated underground parking on weekends makes visiting easy. We will be back!

Went to OEB for brunch on a Friday morning. Found paid street parking just right across on Pioneer Ave. I was kinda worried about parking and lineup as the last time I was here was 3 years ago when they first opened and it was for Sunday brunch. I still reserved a table just in case. Parking was easy and no lineup.

Our server was friendly and greeted us right away and seated us in a booth beside the kitchen. We have a view of Main St and we could also see the action in the kitchen which was fun to watch.

I got the matcha latte and it has a strong matcha flavour and the right amount of sweetness. Then we ordered the Get Shorty Rib Poutine and the Croque Madame Crostini. Both of which were delicious but the standout is the Croque Madame. So so good!

OEB is on the pricier end among other brunch spots in the city. (Our bill for 2 mains + 2 drinks is about $60.) But they have a good menu and the ones we’ve tried were quite tasty. I would love to come back and try other items on the menu. Worth a visit!

Loved it! Food was great, and the atmosphere was welcoming!

The only issue I had was the raw chicken I had in my bag went bad, likely due to the warm temperatures. If something could be done about this problem, I would definitely consider coming back!
