The most amazing poppy seed bread. We can’t get enough of it. Cheese buns and dinner rolls are so fresh and fluffy. You won’t be disappointed.

Delicious and moist chocolate cake for my son’s 4th birthday. The design was just what we asked for! Will order from Oma’s again. Plus, it’s

The breads here are wonderful and if I time it right, still warm from the oven. Yummy!! My fave is the cherry or the fruit bread - both are lovely either just plain or toasted with butter but for a real treat, I love a slice of the apple bread with my morning coffee … it’s not quite dessert for breakfast but almost:). The poppyseed roll reminds me of the one my German mom used to make - way beyond any poppyseed bread or roll I’ve found at Safeway or Superstore. The decorated sugar cookies are a hit with my kids, who really enjoy picking out which ones they want. Thanks to the staff for their patience while we do so. This shop is a slice (pun intended?) of Grandma’s kitchen. Highly recommend it.

My mom bought 2 birthday cakes recently for my 40th birthday from Oma's. A chocolate and a vanilla. I am a big Sobeys cake fan however and these cakes were disappointing. Sobeys has a less sweet icing, and Oma's was sweeter, like a Safeway cake or something-way way too sweet. The middle, was filled with the same icing they put on top, rather than having a custard filling. For my 40th birthday, the cakes were a disappointment. They didn't look particularly expensive so I guess you get what you pay for. I would have much preferred a less sweet sobeys cake type than what we received.

OMG the poppy seed buns, sausage rolls and sticky cinnamon buns are the best! And the apple jacks top the charts! Time to try one of their cakes next . . .

A neighbourhood staple for many years. A personal favourite is the cinnamon buns, they are to die for. We could definitely branch out more and try some other things as the selection here is second to none. Can't wait to visit again soonParking: hundreds of spotsKid-friendliness: So friendly towards the kids ! Even got a free cookie a few times

I love the cinnamon buns, but stay away from the blueberry pie. I’ve tried the blueberry pie twice over the past couple years and both times it has been inedible.

This 'cake' was more icing than actual cake. One half of the chocolate part of the cake must of been cut wrong and too thin and was covered up with icing ? we used to go the old Charleswood location which is no longer there and thought to take the drive to get this cake. Very disappointed with this $24 'cake'.

They’re cinnamon buns with the nuts and the cherries are delicious and a long time favourite. Same with the pull apart. Unfortunately I bought the bran muffins the other day and they’re beyond disappointing. I’m forcing myself to eat them because I don’t like being wasteful but they’re so unpleasant. They’re very sticky, greasy, and too moist. Almost wet. When you hold them or push your thumb into them, they make a wet, squishy noise, (like a wet sponge) and leave an indent instead of being bouncy and popping back. The flavour is somehow both too sweet and bitter. There’s also a weird aftertaste. It’s just very unpleasant. I’d come back for the cinnamon buns & pull apart, but not the cookies (also too sweet) or the muffins.

I love this store and have been buying their bread for the past 40 years. Went in today to buy some cinnamon apple bread for the weekend, and found that every single loaf was burnt on top! I asked the cashier about it and was told that is how they all come. I tried to say that is not true as I have buying this all my life and never bought a burnt loaf and all I got was attitude and no help at all. So disappointed in a store that has always provided quality delicious baking. Will not be supporting you any longer!

This bakery really came through for me when I ran into some trouble with my order of custom cookies! I so appreciate the kind and accomodating staff! The cookies turned out beautiful and so yummy, they were perfect for a bridal shower (or any special event)! The BEST local bakery!
