Original Georges Burgers & Subs

The staff were so nice and friendly, and the food is worth it. I ordered Greek fries there, and it made me full. I want to come back here in the future. Great restaurant.

The staff is welcoming, the service is great and the food (burgers, hotdogs, fries, chili) are very tasty! Their menu also includes daily home-made soups and their cabbage & rice soup is very delicious! It's the best cabbage soup we've ever eaten!! Highly recommend this restaurant!

First time being here. Very Friendly staff, nice clean open atmosphere. Decent amount of inside seating. The Fatboys are really good wife says Greek salad was really good.

We grabbed dinner on the way to the Zoo Light show and were pleasantly surprised with George’s. We had fries, chill topped fries, burgers, Greek salad and pita wraps. Everything was delicious and the staff were so friendly and attentive. We will definitely go back and try other menu items.

One of my favourite burger places. Can't beat the bacon cheese burger with onion rings and a side of chilli for dipping. Good food, owner is polite, good customer service, etc. They keep it clean inside also. Haven't had a bad experience yet. Only complaint is the prices over the years (other locations before this one existed, and now this one too) have just gotten out of hand. Now for my above order, it is close to 30 bucks. I use to eat here for under 20 (sometimes under 15!) and be full and happy. Still great food and a great place, just expensive Imo.

Always feel welcome when we walk thought the door. Tonight I had a hamburger steak smothered in onions and gravy along with Georges’s famous homemade fries. My partner had a Greek salad,
Said it was the best she ever had!

By far the best Original George’s in Winnipeg and so far as I’m concerned the best burger in Canada. Maybe it’s nostalgia having eaten a few thousand of these back in the 80s but nothing in Toronto comes close and the current iteration at this location is perfect.
