Amazing stir fry and big portions! Loved it ?

Total cross contamination.Total lack of food safety.One set of tongs for all vegetables and used the same tongs for meat.Put raw meat on top of vegetables before cooking, and if you do that you MUST thoroughly cook everything.I’ll admit my hunger got the better of me and even tho I saw this blatant health risk I ate it anyways. And 18 hours later I’m very sick. There is no doubt in my mind this place got me sick.Even tho it was empty when we came in the tables were filthy, the prep area was cluttered and dirty. A woman behind the counter had to yell everything for the customer to hear her, try turning down the Friggen tv that blasts a bunch of cable commercials nobody wants to see. Or put it on something with a consistent volume.Nobody wants to watch cable tv while they eat fast food anyways, that’s more of a pub thing isn’t it?Long story long if you really need stir fry you’re better off making your own than feeling the way I feel right now (cramps, persistent diarrhea, mouth watering like I’m about to vomit…)

Ordered before and it was really good. Tried the house sauce this time and it has no flavour other than overbearing salt. Pretty disappointing.

I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the environment, the way the food was served , the taste of the food, nor the quality. Likely my last visit.

Not very clean. No one was in the restaurant yet the tables were dirty looking. Rice was all over the counter where you pay as well. The veggies all looked quite wilted and tasted "old" .Concerning they use one set of tongs for all. Even meats... lots of cross contamination. They cooked our food on a wok on stove, yet all take out orders were cooked on the large flat grill. I did not finish the meal .

If you haven't been here you're missing out!!! Extremely generous portions,friendly helpful staff and the owner Garth is extremely approachable and friendly always makes sure you're enjoying your experience I can't say enough about this place.As I said if you haven't tried it you're missing out on the best stir fry in Winnipeg!

I love coming here. The owner is very friendly and always goes out of his way to give a great experience.They make their own hot sauces which I love.

tasty food in good amount of serving that will definitely satisfy your hunger. awesome customer service. I had trouble with our uber eats order and the owner personally dealt with it. very nice and friendly. love to come back again.

Worst service I have ever had. Also watched then cross contaminate food as well as drop food on floor and put it back in serving line ?? staff got mad that after I stood waiting for someone to place my order for over half and hour that I did not leave a tip

I was hungry and looked up a close restaurant, Palatal Stir Fry Express popped up and drove there.I ordered rice fried with array of vegetables and I thoroughly enjoyed it.This restaurant is highly recommended by me.

I love living in a Multicultural melting pot and I do not feel English has to be your first language but if you are going to take the orders, make the orders and ring up the orders shouldn't you be able to communicate or comprehend speech in order to do your job with some level of competency?Palatal Express is one of my favorite places to eat we are regulars and the weekday daytime and evening staff are fantastic and polite. I have never had an issue with any order and I would say they go out of their way to make you happy with your dining experience.Today on 10-16 2021 at roughly 8:20 PM after waiting for about 5 minutes for the staff to pack up pick up and skip orders we were served. We both ordered the large Vegetarian bowl with rice and two orders of Tofu each. The grill was empty and there were no orders behind us yet the person who took our order and made the bowls was franticly out of control and and completely unable to comprehend what it was we wanted. No mater how many times I told her two orders of Tofu each that message could not be relayed. We each wanted the entire array of vegetables yet whatever the tongs gabbed per tray if anything was all you were going to get even if the tong had nothing in it. My wife's meal was absent tofu and rice and there was no relaying to the grill people to add it they just didn't give a care and pointed to the lady in charge. I tried to communicate with her to add it before her meal was cooked but in her frantic state nothing I was politely saying or relaying was getting through to her but what did happen was she started to make a third bowl because double to her only translated as double order and she was about to make us three bowls incorrectly. I feel we got shorted on our vegetables because even though there were no orders in behind ours, making our meals at 100 miles per hour was all that mattered to her, not proper portion, nor getting the order correct. I bet if I ordered this meal in Asia the communication would have been better Out of four tofu portions ordered mine was the only meal that received one portion, My wife's didn't get any tofu and had to accept un grilled rice on the side in a polystyrene container. What a burn! The grill guys also failed us miserably because it didn't matter to them either if we got what we ordered and even though I asked for mine well done it was not and the worst part about that is there were no orders behind ours that were ready to go on the frill or even being made. Lastly I had the Pad Thai and I asked for a little spice. Usually the daytime Man in charge will ask how hot and I will ask for a 1-2 which amounts to very little chili oil sauce and about five chili spices. The lady dumped a whole teaspoon on mine and I went whoa! and because of the communication breakdown that didn't even phase her because she didn't understand. Well my meal was inedible it was so frigg'n spicy I couldn't eat it. There are chili's with every bite, I bet almost no one orders there meal that spicy because you cannot taste the sauce or anything else because of it. Our meal was $40.00, as far as I am concerned that was $40.00 wasted and the sad thing is I was craving Palatal for days and made a special trip into the city just to get it, darn disappointing.

Usually good. But now your order gets pushed to the side for skip the dishes. Also as we learned tonight say you have an allergy and they push your order ahead of everyone else.Our food sat to the side for 30min after paying before they started cooking it due to everyone jumping ahead of us.

Took almost an hour to get our food, was so busy with people and skip deliverys. Terrible team work between employees.. visibly arguing at grill about which order goes next.
