Have you ever wanted to eat chinese food from a kitchen that seems as clean and appealing as a back alley? Well, look no further!

You better hope your taste buds are as run down as this restaurant if you want to enjoy this meal.
The beef and broccoli is beatifully boiled to ensure none of that pesky seasoning accidently contaminates the food with flavor.

Chicken chow mein is served on an intricately compact gelatinous mass of noodles. Uniquely crafted to be solid brick in the serving container, but still melts in your mouth like chocolate on an engine block. Scrumptious!

The ginger chicken is a Guinness Record holder for being deep-fried long enough to become jerky. Amazing!

We can't forget the fan favorite chicken balls! Flash fried crispy and golden on the outside, chewy and doughy on the inside. The sweet and sour dipping sauce has the consistency of cranberry juice, so there is no danger of it being a sticky choking hazard for children. They thought of everything!!

Finally, the generic house made white sauce that coats almost every dish is the true workhorse of this culinary adventure. Tasteless, sticky, and undefineable; it looks like it was repurposed from the adult film industry. Genius daring, or hells kitchen disaster? You decide.

The portions are big, and so are the prices.

If you have never had chinese food and want a whelming experience, then come on down the Panda Chinese Restaurant.

I've never came here before but when I saw the video it the pug I'm now inspired to travel to Canada just to eat this delicious Chinese food!

It's a nice little spot, the server is very nice and respectful. The food is what you expect for a small take out. the surprising thing is the amount of food, for 15$ you get a meal big enough for 2

Large portions but, without a doubt, the worst Chinese food we have ever had.

Ordered on skip so ignore service and atmosphere stars. Food was yucky. Very doughy. Ginger beef, chicken balls super doughy maybe not cooked enough? Lean bbq pork VERY salty...like too salty. Soup was ok as was egg roll but for over $100 in food we are very disappointed. Won't be trying again.

I get food costs are high but it's expensive for us to eat out too. Restaurants need to make sure food is Awesome and worth it or you won't have customers coming back.

Food here is awful! And expensive on top of that. I would give zero star if I could.

They charged extra to swap out meat with veggies on a combo (which makes no sense) and did not communicate this when the order was being placed. On top of that the food was not good, definitely the worst Chinese food I've had in Winnipeg. Won't be going here again.

We’ve been getting takeout here for a while… however last night 28 Feb 25 we were shocked at how something so good went so wrong..the chicken rice that used to be soft was crunchy…the chicken balls were doughy and not their usual crispy with very little chicken inside.
The egg rolls were mushy and tasteless
I’m hoping they are teaching a new cook or it was an off night…

Large portions at a good price. I really liked the Vegetables Cantonese Chow Mein

Vegetarian options: We are vegetarians and they nicely adapted a dish for us to replace the meat with tofu

Best place for takeout Chinese in Charleswood. Not sure you'd find any better across the bridge in St. James either.

Kung pow chicken should be diced chicken, celery, carrots and peanuts and spicy. This was chunks of breaded chicken and not spicy. Cantonese chow mein (pan fried) was some sloppy steamed noodles with a couple of burnt spots on the bottom and practically a head of broccoli dumped on top. Mall chinese food is better than this. Never going back.
