The food was very flavourful, the building is clean and architecturally gorgeous, and they have a wide variety of price options for meals. What more can be said!

It’s such a treat to eat here. I’m the winter, it is wonderful to sit as close to nature while still being indoors. The food is exceptional.

Really nice experience. Maya our server made it very welcoming and gave great recommendations. Eggs Benedict was delicious and the spot is beautiful right in the park.

Great place to stop by and grab a light meal. Wonderful atmosphere. Grabbed drinks from the take out window. Unfortunately the hours are pathetic. Open 9-4 only? And it’s been like this since it opened many years ago. Not sure what business practise they follow but turning people away is not a good one.

Came to patio with the doggo after an hour long walk. Beautiful day but patio wasn’t opened yet. Nice young fellow at the front guided me around and cleaned a table for me. Lovely spot for a sit but I really did want to try the food. After almost 20 minutes or so no server came out. I walked in to ask and he said he’d told most of the servers there that there was a customer on the patio. So I guess they chose not to bother coming outside. Too bad. Not a great impression.

A must stop should you be passing through the park. The food is amazing and fairly well priced for this day and age. The patio is 5/5 stars. I highly reccomend you sit outside as the inside gets quite packed and noisy, and really, if you're at Assiniboine park it's to enjoy the weather and nature.

I had the most delicious Egg's Benedict here, so so yummy! The pancakes were also very good. The service was great, and the big windows were very nice and let in a lot of natural light. The drink prices were quite a bit inflated sadly.

Food was pretty bad.
Our entire lunch group agreed we wouldn't be going back.
Burgers are dry as a bone and plain.
Chicken sandwhich was overcooked and dry, zero taste.
Got a grilled cheese for my son. Menu says grilled cheese sandwich. Not a half a grilled cheese sandwich. One slice cut in half, n put together.
My parents were less then impressed and ate about half their food. Not sure why all their food is so dry. But everything is...

Waitress' had too many tables. Seemed short staffed so seevice was not very good. It took 45 minutes to get our food. Atmosphere is very loud. It's a big open, hard surface building. Sound is very echoing. Very loud and boisterous with zero sound deadening qualities. Found I was almost yelling to people sitting across from me at our table.

Appears to be a Sunday brunch place, open air dining creates a louder atmosphere, which isn't for everyone. Decent portions for price, which is on the higher side. Kids menu is restricted to age which is dumb, really. Great service. No issues there!

Food is good, service a bit slow probably bcos of the capacity of the restaurant, place is clean, airy, plenty of room, and huge windows. Restaurant looks like a big cafeteria inside, not as I'm expecting from the outside. It's probably built for events yet lacks coziness on regular business days but there's room for improvement.

Place is nasty.
Canadians haven fallen so far and been falling for so long…
they’re down and couldn’t even remember how to get back up..

Park cafe was a great experience. Visited late afternoon so was very quiet at that time but room for plenty of people with room to spare. Our server was open and helpful. Was too hungry to take pictures but the clubhouse was spectacular. The follow up toasted cinnamon bun was both delicious and well sized as recommended. Great coffee, worth the visit.
