You're paying for meat, over 100g of it, but that's it. The pastrami sandwich has 3 ingredients; meat, bread, and mustard. Quality ingredients, but a let down of a sandwich.

Love the decoration, the service, the coffee. It's a place of serenity.

Love the corned beef sandwiches.

It's a good Sammidge place. Ten bucks cash, delicious Sammidge.
Nikki Boulet
Very rude staff. Not sure why they would treat their customers this way.

Best Ruben sandwich I have ever had!!!!

Why isnt this place rated 5 stars? I kept seeing posts about unfriendly staff, yet they were super nice and respectful. Got the pastrami Sandwich with hot mustard and it was fantastic!

Food and service is average

I was excited to get a sandwich after fasting all morning. The person who served me was so rude. No need to feel embarrassed asking for a sandwich . If someone asks you to pick the best bread for them please just pick a bread. Don't make a scene.

MEH. There are many better options in WPG for delicatessen, but it sure beats the cafeteria at the hospital.
Not sure how the Winnipeg Sun readers voted this place as the Peg's best deli over such legendary places like Oscars or Bernsteins. Menu is limited, portions are small and services was neither friendly nor unfriendly. Reubin sandwich had coleslaw instead of sauerkraut and bread was toasted instead of grilled. Since they don't have full kitchen facilities I would avoid the specialty sandwiches and stick to the basic ones that don't require any cooking. Average.

Love their sandwiches!!!!

Great food . Good place to grab lunch if you have an appointment at St Boniface Hospital or area . A little pricey but the best option in the area . There is 2 large parking lots close and also a bus stop really close.

Haven't had a pastrami sandwich this good since I left NYC many years ago. Thet even throw in an authentic dill pickle, Their Ruben sandwich is also a wonderful creation. Unfortunately, they don't have Dr. Brown's Celery Tonic to wash it down with, but otherwise this place is the closest to an authentic Jewish deli I've found in Winnipeg (and in St. Boniface no less.)
