Came for the Winter Wonderland High Tea. Given a choice of tea from their menu, tea was just he right amount for the entire sitting. The scones were delicious, paired with 4 types on butter that were on the side. Sandwiches were tasty, loved the variety and bite sized of them all - favorite would have been the Croissant and Brioche. Desserts were nice. My favorite was the pavlova. I enjoyed the truffle, it was like a cross between a Rafello and a Ferrero Roche. Very friendly staff and neat atmosphere for a day date or with a group of friends/family.

Thought it would be more dainty sandwiches rather than appe type food. Overall good food and service. However almost fainted to learn I was paying 65$ per person plus a mandatory “service fee” of 18% for some bits and bites! Could have eaten out for a full dinner for that! Won’t return!

Brunch at Pauline’s good, simple flavors, adorable portions, and a very slow-motion dining experience. Bonus points if you enjoy mystery hotel/tavern entrances.

Brunch vibes at Pauline this morning 🌿✨ Tried their signature brisket benny eggs, and it was such a treat — rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The café has a clean, cozy atmosphere that makes you want to linger a little longer, and the staff were genuinely warm, checking in often without being intrusive. It’s the kind of spot that feels both comforting and a little special. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a brunch place that hits both taste and vibes.

Restaurantji Recommends
I had the Eggs Benedict and my friend had a cheeseburger. The food was okay—not great, but not terrible. However, the service was by far the worst part of the experience.
Our server was unfriendly and offered no options or recommendations. She was short with us, never checked in to ask how our meals were, and only returned to see if we wanted another beer. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than welcomed guests.
I truly regret leaving a tip, and that's not something I say lightly. While I noticed other servers seemed to be doing a much better job, our experience left a bad impression. It’s unfortunate because the problem seems to be isolated to one staff member, not the restaurant as a whole.
Still, based on this visit alone, I don’t plan to return.

Expensive for the meal I got. Got the daily omelette, it was dry and lacked flavor. Average food, good service, amazingly cute space with great atmosphere. For me, it felt like cheap diner food packaged up nicely. I still enjoyed myself, though! Was quiet and comfortable, staff was nice, coffee was good.
