Gorgeous establishment, lovely service. Great Canadian eggs Benedict was delightful, and the caffè mocha was perfect.

I ordered the Croque Madame and just look at it! Taste as good as it looks! Paired it with the mimosa flight to get my brunch started. Friendly service and wonderful establishment. It's great to see a restaurant packed with happy customers!

I went for breakfast here with a friend for the first time this past week and enjoyed my experience a lot. The menu had a good selection but I ended up choosing Eggs Benedict which was really delicious and filling. I ordered a London Fog as well which served very quickly. I found the environment relaxing and the seats were cozy. Easy parking to note as well. I look forward to visiting again.

Had brunch with a group of girls and no one had anything bad to say. The food was delicious, the drinks were well designed and balanced and the overall service and environment was very inviting and friendly. I would definitely come back to try their lunch menu!

Vegetarian options: There was options for vegetarians

Parking: Unsure on whether the parking lot we parked was a payed area but there were no tills.

Wheelchair accessibility: Might have minimal difficulty with some steps, and tight corners on entry.

I’ll start with some of the poor qualities.

-service was lack-luster, the hostess was friendly but it was confusing entering the building and reading multiple signs and then being shown to another person and area where we were greeted by someone that seemed grumpy. Then the server met with us in a unfriendly manner. They didn’t do anything bad, I just didn’t appreciate any of their attitude or service.

- All around, the atmosphere wasn’t very inviting - everyone seemed not very friendly and most of the clientele was about 40-50+

- hot drinks were okay, the quality in drinks was kind of sad and forgetful considering we are in the French area in Winnipeg, I’d expect a higher standard for look and taste at an establishment that looked as beautiful as it was. The matcha we got had lots of excess matcha powder in it and both drinks looked amateurish or carelessly made.

- Food was unfortunately also forgettable. I was really, really hoping to like the Croque Madame, but was left with just a plain flavourless bacon sandwich. I was impressed by the menu at first but everything that came out was lacking in any interesting flavours.
We also *found some hair* in our food, it could have been from us tho, so we didn’t say anything.

- The dining room was dark and cold, for a place like Winnipeg I think we should always have warm lighting and comfy temperatures - especially in the middle of winter.

GOOD things about Pauline’s:
-The bathrooms were very clean, spacious and private.
- The quality of the food was great, I thought the ingredients were of a good standard. I always like a good homemade crunchy hash brown.
- The building and decor was in engaging, kind of regal and comfy. I felt like you could come for a date or family affair.
- there was a good selection of food items for a variety of diets.
- the food came out quick (but wasn’t as hot as I’d expect)

I did really want to like this place, we were very excited to try it. But felt let down.

I recently visited Pauline for their Christmas High Tea.

I recommend that you and your friend try different tea options. This way, you'll get to experience a variety of flavors instead of both having the same tea. We didn't know the tea would come with a pot, so we both ended up choosing chai tea. We enjoyed it, but it would have been better to try two different flavors!

Their only non-dairy milk option is oat milk.

The savory dishes were exceptional and memorable, as were their warm scones and biscuits.

However, I felt there could have been a greater variety of savory options. The selection leaned heavily towards sweet treats.

We also noticed that one of the desserts was missing from the dessert menu we were given. The waitress acted quickly and kindly, offering us a free dessert as compensation since they had run out of that particular dessert in their kitchen.

We tried their crème brûlée, and the custard flavor was truly memorable. The portion was generous for two people, and the fresh strawberries perfectly balanced the rich and creamy custard.

one of the best brunch spots in Winnipeg! The hot chocolate is delicious! The hash browns here are especially the real star for me, they are crispy and perfectly salty! The side of honey dill pairs excellently with them!
My partner got a sandwich along with a caesar salad—he also really enjoyed his!
A winnipeg must!

My partner chose this as our breakfast outing for the weekend. It was very cute, the food was great, and our waitress was excellent. Would recommend and would go back.
