When we arrived we got our drink orders taken right away. The atmosphere was really nice, but the service was atrocious. My boyfriend and I waited around 25 minutes to get our orders taken, and we probably would’ve waited longer if I didn’t have to flag the server down. People who came in after us got their orders taken before we did. The server was friendly, but there’s no way it should’ve taken that long to put our orders in especially when it wasn’t even busy. Smoked salmon eggs benny was ok at best. Eggs were overdone, salmon looks like it comes from a can and I barely got any hollandaise sauce compared to other pictures I’ve seen on here. At least the coffee was good!

The food tasted decent. Their citrus Hollandaise sauce tastes like it was made out of powder/package. The salmon in my smoked salmon Benedict tasted and looked like flake salmon instead of actual smoked salmon. Their price is kinda pricey compared to what they offer. However, the star of our meals was the sausage from my bf's order and their hot chocolate. (the sausage was so good, everyone should give it a try!!!!!)Aside from that, the ambiance was nice, and our server was so friendly and attentive. And last but not least, they are one of the few brunch places that have a reservation option!!!! (so yes, if you have a couple people in your group and don't want to wait an hour to get in on a weekend day, this is your place)!!

A nice place for breakfast. It is a hotel restaurant so it is a little pricy. To get to the restaurant, I had to go through the lounge and I wasn't sure if I was going the right way. They need some clearer signage.

Environment and Service are nice. French toast was great, liked the combination of cinnamon bun with strawberry compote. However the egg benny was too mediocre, very bland, something you can slap together at home, don’t worth $20+ for it. One egg was cooked perfectly, the other one was cooked medium with some egg shell in it, love the extra calcium. Hash brown is the most flavoured thing on the whole plate, would not recommend this dish.

Great service and modern interiors, however the food is quite bland. I ordered the Classic Canadian Benny and it lacked seasoning and flavour including the back bacon. The spanish hash had quite a bit of oil and under seasoned as well.

We were excited to try the high tea but was a bit disappointed. The service and atmosphere was great but food was a bit of a let down. The scones tasted of bitter baking soda and unfortunately the item descriptions did not align with what was served. The eclair had whipped cream instead of salted caramel and the macaron and lemon lavender cupcake both contained cream cheese icing instead of the described flavour.
The croque madame was dry and lacked flavor. Very disappointing, especially for the price.

This place looks great with moderate to higher end furnishings, you can find yourself enjoying the atmosphere and a latte from the expensive machine there however my coffee came from a carafe and it was flat.. a little watery and bitter as well. Also the potato hashbrowns are reminiscent of your home pan fry and are just not that good. The sandwich looked great but a little mediocre on taste but I guess bechamel I find always tastes a little bland and adding cheese to make mornay it tasted similar, I feel like I could make it taste the same way at home..for much more work of course. This place seems decent and my order was ok.

Had the salmon Benedict and it was wonderful and the eggs were perfect. Great place and very nice atmosphere. Worth it to go there.
Went in for the first time this past weekend and very surprised. Located in the Norwood, this hidden gem was not what I expected. Food was excellent, flavourful and well proportioned, service was excellent, friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was inviting. Highly recommend.
