Peasant Cookery Reviews
Amazing food, great service and a safe place in our community. Had a terrifying issue with a woman experiencing homelessness and the manager was great and even walked me to my car. Thank you!
Just had one of the best meals of my life here. Highly recommend!
As always, our time spent with the fine and talented folks at the Peasant Cookery was flawlessly excellent.
Ever the abundant hosts, the Ninja-like server didn’t leave us wanting. Welcoming, inviting, and homey, the venue once again made us feel comfortable and part of something bigger than just a meal.
Not only will we be back, we find it hard to go elsewhere. Kudos and accolades to management and staff in the front and the back of the house.

Peasant Cookery offers a delightful dining experience in a charming, historic setting. The menu features a variety of tasty and gluten-free options, including calamari, mussels with fries, kale salad, dry ribs, Tart flambé, peasant pie, hunters chicken paillard, steak frites, L'Onion Gratinee Soup, Watermelon Salad, Mulhouse Spatzle, and Aged Cheddar Gnocchi, all prepared with care and attention to detail. Portions are plentiful, and the water service is prompt. The restaurant has a nice ambiance with excellent service, and the staff is attentive, helping with questions about the menu and wine. Diners enjoy the lively yet cozy atmosphere, with a quaint, European-vibe lounge that enhances the overall experience. The patio area is a popular choice, especially during good weather. The charcuterie board is a must-try, with generous portions and tasty drinks. The duck, which is often featured as a special, is described as delicious. While some dishes like calamari can be soggy and the sauce may taste store-bought, and others like chicken Spasze can be underwhelming, the restaurant's wine recommendations and cocktails are spot on. Overall, Peasant Cookery is a welcoming place that many enjoy returning to for special occasions or a nice dinner out, though some feel the price does not always match the quality compared to similar restaurants. The lively atmosphere can get quite loud during busy times, but the overall experience remains memorable.
