“TCB is fantastic. The Taproom and the function room are great venues for an amzing good time with friends. The beer is as good as any, and the food is terrific. I mean the whole menu. I've sampled everything and never once been disappointed. And the staff, without exception, have made me and my friends feel welcome and appreciated. The fact that this is a locally owned independent venue, and not some beige chain outfit with prefab, feigned "flair", makes me like it all the more. This place is genuine. If you haven't tried TCB yet, you're missing out.“

“Really cute place in a purple building! Got here later in the afternoon and grabbed a pizza twists, an oat latte and the last smoked tofu sandwich! Asked if it was vegan too make sure it was. Everything looks so great and love how the bread is all sourdough. The pizza twist tasted better than it looked. And I wished the sandwich had a bit more filling but the bread was super moist and it tasted really nice. The rest of the bread on display looked super delicious could eat bread for days. Overall, great bakery and great energy there. Would totally go back for more.“

“I've been looking for good Vietnamese iced coffee and this place is it! I had the salted iced version it was so good! It's also inside Pronuts (also so good!) so you can grab both at one stop! The actual shop is super cute and the staff were super friendly.“

“I recently found out about this bakery and something told me not to hesitate ordering even though I had no idea what anything tasted like! I recently went gluten, dairy and soy free, I ordered a mixed berry pie, chicken pot pie, sourdough cinnamon buns, oatmeal raisin cookies, sourdough bread and sourdough hamburger buns.. the cookies.. to die for, the sourdough bread.. it’s killing me how delish it is.. and everything else looks so yummy I’m trying hard to space it out so I don’t put myself in a food coma. “We stopped in for a quick bite and drink on our last day visiting Winnipeg. Our server was TOP NOTCH! I wish I had gotten her name. Not only did she recommend great drinks, but once she found out we were tourists, she went out of her way to write down recommendations of places we should go to next for a drink. We shared a quick bite of the tostadas and they were delicious!“

“I get the butter chicken wrap from here and each time it's been great tasting, and fresh. Staff is very nice, location is really cool being in the exchange. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

I've had both take out, and dine in, and both options were great. For take out, wrap stayed hot even after driving to the outer edge of the city at my home before eating.“

“No doubt the best oomomo location in the city. The other ones are fine but compared to St. Vital, polo park has a larger selection. If you’re into stationary or art, this is the perfect place to get supplies and materials. I thought I had to head to the dollar store nearby for glue stick but they have a lot of necessities! There’s also other interesting things in there as well such as snacks, housewares, etc.

Prices are reasonable as well!“

“I went to to Harrison’s for the first time while out on a nice walk with my friend and her dog. We had wanted to stop for a coffee and noticed the little shop on Waterfront. Not only was the Coffee great but they were a pet friendly establishment and provided water outside for them to have a drink as well. I’m a forever customer now.“

“Been to several Kimchi locations as its my favorite Korean place to eat in the city and can say that this is the best location in Winnipeg. Just can't say enough about their food, the lovely service and the amazing value. If it’s your first time I highly recommend my favorite dish — Kimchi rice (Or Kimchi noodles if you prefer noodles)!“

“I tried giving this location a fair chance but after our most recent visit I will never step foot inside the Henderson Leo's. A few months ago we waited over an hour for our food. We never complained. The manager did apologize to us and did give us free drink vouchers and free deep fried pickles for our next visit. Plus I do believe he discounted our bill. I was still displeased as I wasn't looking for any freebies, just good service. Fast forward a couple of weeks ago, and our table joked about us getting free drink vouchers again. I said no don't say that. Well....almost an hour later the server came to our table and apologized for the delay in our food. She said the reason was that they suddenly got a lot of skip order and it delayed our order coming out. That did not sit well with me but I said nothing. We continued to wait and eventually got our food. My fries were cold and my burger was luke warm. My son received his food 5 mins later. My girlfriend's order was completely wrong and dissapointed because she was looking forward to the dill pickle chicken burger. She even pointed to the picture when she ordered it. She didn't say anything because she knew I was already angry and didn't want me to make a scene. I left all my fries on the plate. No questions from the server if there was anything wrong. I was so dissapointed as I really enjoy the food at Leo's. I'm leaving this review in hopes that changes are made at this location so others can enjoy their visits

UPDATE- Since my review, Tim kept communicating with me via emails. He made a genuine effort to make things right. I felt he was sincere and accepted his apology for how our evening went. I do believe in the future we will be back and its all because Tim took the time to listen and make things right. In case anyone was wondering this was originally a 1 star review.“

Despite this inconsistency, the fries are always a go-to item for their flavor and quality. If you don't mind a bit of unpredictability, Dairy Queen's fries are worth the order every time.“

“Entry access for handicapped people is tough but the staff were incredibly helpful. The food was fresh and delicious. Prices have gone up significantly which will make our visits less frequent.

Wheelchair accessibility: Getting into the building is difficult but the staff were extremely helpful. Once you are in it's off to the races.“
