I recently went to pizzeria gusto for a friend’s birthday dinner. My pizza was super oily, however I didn’t even have to say anything. When the waiter brought my pizza to me she right away acknowledged that it was covered in too much oil and offered to make me a new one. The reason 4 stars not 5 is because they had a $4 per plate fee for a cake that was being served (cake not in house) I understand since they now had 20 additional plates to clean for there to be a serving charge. $4 just felt a bit steep. That might be industry practice, not sure. Other places I have been do not charge anything. Mind you we were a group of 20 already paying &50+ bills each.

**Side note of less importance but something to consider if you are wanting to book the basement event room. It is very echoey down there so it is hard to hear people at times as it gets so loud! If they had some acoustic panels up on the wall I think that would help.

Peyton truly had the loveliest personality. He was so quick with our orders, knew so much about the menu and was a ball of joy to be served by! I will go back and request him every time.

The antipasti were delicious, perfect combination of flavours. Pizza is as amazing as in Italy. I had Lucia with figues jam, gorgonzola, salami, and arugula. I want to come back already!

If feel that it is pretty hard to get good service now adays. Definitely NOT with Brett as your server at Gusto Pizzeria. He was wonderful! Friendly, attentive 5 stars! Will be back to this location.

Family owned and ran, stone baked pizza. Everything here is homemade with traditional recipes handed down. Magnificent food!

Came for date with my husband. Staff was very friendly. Ordered two delicious pizzas that came quickly and were hot. The best cocktails we’ve had, William the bartender was super knowledgeable and friendly! Deserts were 10/10 as well. Will definitely be back!!

Serena was our waitress and she was fabulous! Very helpful and patient with our table as we were a bit slow on ordering. She was very attentive. I would love more vegan options. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Everytime we go we are never disappointed, pizza and pasta were excellent and the raspberry swirl cheese cake was the best we have ever had. Our waitress was very helpful and assertive. Our favorite restaurant.

Ordered 2 pizzas - the Lucia and the Bianco Con Porchetta. While the ingredients were top notch on both pizzas, there was a great blend of flavours on the Lucia, but we felt the Bianco Con Porchetta lacked some flavour (felt a bit bland). Had a glass of one of the red wines while our friend had a Spritz Falso. Our server was new so she needs more experience to get a more balanced attentiveness. She was very pleasant but our pizzas came out before our drink orders (not sure if this is the fault of the front line or kitchen team). We did have to ask for our bill and it took a few minutes to pay so did feel the timing for this was a bit off (again maybe due to lack of experience). We would recommend if you want a pricey good pizza and a neighborhood ambiance.

Our server Peyton was very attentive, friendly and that added to our great experience at Pizzeria Gusto! It was a terrific place for lunch today, very tasty drinks and unique salads and pizza. I think they must have a great chef!

We have been to Pizzeria Gusto five times now over the past 18 months. It has quickly became our favorite Winnipeg restaurant, even for our daughter, who is a very specific eater. We highly recommended Pizzeria Gusto. Try the "Waterloo".

My first time visiting as I had heard about the amazing cuisine here however I think I picked the wrong pizza. If you like an artisan pizza then this is your place. It was really busy and had a nice vibe - decor was beautiful.
The staff were really warm and personable. After being seated it took about 15-20 minutes for someone to take our drink order and then another 15-20mins to receive our drinks. It seemed that they were understaffed. Pizza arrived quickly but was lukewarm and dry. Not very appetizing. Will take a pass on this pizzeria as there are many more high quality authentic pizza places in Winnipeg.

Service was a bit slow to receive the bill, but was otherwise great.
