I have eaten at this restaurant with my family before and the service has been decent...not great but decent until today. I came in with my wife and kids and the waitress/manager who served us was HORRIBLE. Infact I can say she was the worst I have ever seen. The waitress/manager 's name is Katrina and here were the concerns.
1. It took forever for our food to come. Like literally forever. She kept on passing by our table and saying your food will be out in a minute and it took forever
2. When the food finally came. My son had ordered a burger with NO bacon and they had bacon on his burger. So they took it back and brought a burger with no bun and with bacon. We requested to see the manager and no one came to speak to us. Later we found out that the rude Katrina woman was the manager. She refused to apologize for this screw up and told us that it was not the chef or kitchen 's responsibility to make sure that correct orders were cooked. She refused to apologize and said she was gonna take the burger out of the order as if I had told her that I had problems paying for the order. This woman is nasty and I will NEVER go back there again. My family spends about $600 a month eating at this pony coral and they will never get a dime from us again.
3. Dirty cutlery. They brought me meatballs soup and the spoon was disgusting. It was so dirty that I had to go and ask for another spoon myself from another waitress. This Katrina woman would come and take plates off of our table without even saying excuse me or finding out if we were done and when I asked her about it she said here we don't have to ask anyone anything before taking our plates off the table. Really really nasty woman. No wonder why this place is always empty each time we go there. My advice to anybody considering this Pony Coral Restaurant on Pembina is GO Somewhere else where your money will be appreciated. Don't go to this place their waitresses are horrible especially Katrina. She is nasty. Don't eat here.

We ordered the dinner for eight for Thanksgiving 2024. Due to some unexpected circumstances we had to order dinner instead of making it like we usually do. I have to admit the dinner was spectacular tender moist turkey, delicious gravy, beautiful mashed potatoes, stuffing with bacon and sausage and everything that reminded me of my mother’s dressing, fresh, cooked to perfection vegetables and of course, pumpkin pie !!! It was very reasonable. It was hot. They were on time and I would highly recommend it. All I had to do was set my table and enjoy the beautiful meal. Thank you Pier 7 you out did yourself!!

UPDATE: Came here for a Thanksgiving/ Birthday meal. At first, I am sure Google did say that this place will serve the meal for dine-in too. Either the person whom I spoke to didn't understand that I wanted the meal inside ( it was one of the staff members from the Wilton, Grant Park, Pony Coral ), or Google wasn't updated.
Nevertheless, the one that came to the front desk said she will talk to the kitchen if they could serve the Thanksgiving meal inside. And the answer was they can.
The meal came, my guest's meal was hotter than mine, and the vegetables were undercooked, and the meal was very salty. The iced tea was a bit tasteless, at first.
When getting the pumpkin pie to go, they were small slices in two separate take-out containers, they both could of been together.
But, just a few, or so things, that were not that good, and the wait times for both getting out table, and the dessert, was a bit longer than expected.
HOWEVER, it is great to see the special guests that came to that location! And, like I stated before on here, a month ago, was that the food was great, the servers are great, even on this date, and the regular desserts are great! I also most definitely recommend the cheese bread.
Will I still come back? The answer is YES!
Parking: Plenty of parking on the Pony Coral grounds. You cannot park on Pembina Hwy due to bike lane.
Wheelchair accessibility: Eventhough some of the doors do not open by pushing on the big buttos of the automatic doors, there is plenty of parking for those that need the better access.

Upscale & beautiful place. Two storey with very nice patio with tiki huts for larger groups. Outside tables for six with a center fire brazier are very nice on cooler days.
Had a dj playing music .. Very enjoyable
Food is good. We just stopped in for a drink and shared a dessert. Yummy!
Though the outside seating for only 2 people is only small table. For the 2 of us our table near the middle next to railing on the higher elevation side. It was a bit disconcerning when a couple was seated on the lower side on the other side of the railing, while a couple feet looking down, mere inches to the side.
Unfortunately many restaurants nowadays have these tiny tables for two people ... Not a fan.
Definitely one place to go to in Winnipeg.
Parking
Busy place and the parking is a little strange at first. There is parking around the vacant building in front to the right side. The drive narrows and slopes down along side the restaurant that opens to smaller lot ares that you can see the boat dock.

Our Server Akanksha was a wonderful host and made sure we had the best experience. We ordered calamari, cheese quesadilla and Alfredo fettuccine pasta, all of which had superb taste. Overall, worth the hype and can be saved to celebrate special occasions.

A large well attended event upstairs, meant there seemed to be a little service upstairs or downstairs. The souvlaki was excellent, and the Greek salad was also great.
