The Butternut Squash Fettuccine is one of the very best restaurant meals I have ever ordered. It was loaded with vegetables and the flavour with the pesto and pistachios, was perfect. The portion size is incredibly generous, so much that I will be enjoying half of it again tomorrow. The house made focaccia is very good too! Nic is a fabulous server and really enhanced our dining experience.☺️

I'll start by saying whenever I've dined in, I've had good experiences here.
Do not order food to go though. I ordered the bacon grilled cheese with fries and was told it would be about 20 minutes. It seemed like a pretty busy Saturday so I assumed it would be a bit more, and I was happy to wait (the restaurant is in a book store so there's tons of stuff to look at).
I went back after 20 minutes and sat down on a chair by the takeout area. I watched a box of food on the counter behind the till sit there for a while. Other people had ordered a larger order before me, so I assumed it was part of theirs. 15 minutes passes and I see someone put that same box of food into a bag and call me name. I asked to look at the food since it had been sitting on the counter for so long.
Sandwich was super mushy, fries were lukewarm at this point. The woman who have me the order said she didn't think it had been sitting there that long. I decided to just take it since I was hungry and had been waiting 35 minutes.
Got to my car, took a bite of my sandwich and it was just mush. I'm kicking myself for not saying something sooner when the box was just sitting there, but I also didn't want to assume that was my food and bother anyone since it was busy.
Most of the meal I threw away, and it was an unfortunate waste of $21.

I’ve been to this restaurant a number of times over the past few years and have generally had good experiences, but after today, I won’t be coming back. I ordered a cold brew that came out tasting burnt and completely off — it was genuinely undrinkable. I politely asked if I could get something else instead. I wasn’t asking for a refund, just a replacement.
The server was rude and dismissive, saying, “That’s how we make it.” What exactly was supposed to taste burnt and horrible? Then she told me if I wanted something else, I’d have to pay for it — even though I had already paid, including a tip.
It’s frustrating how quickly the attitude shifted from decent service to making me feel like a problem for simply speaking up. I used to come here every month or so, but after this, I’m done. There are too many other places that actually value their customers.

I had the turkey avocado wrap and soup. It was good. The wrap is a cold wrap not cooked. A bit pricy menu. Restaurant smells very good.

The food was really good overall except for the avocado which was like a tasteless piece of plastic, they took too long to bring the dishes but the desserts were good too !
The kids meals are amazing!! A main with either fruit, veggies or a salad and a dessert very fairly priced. The other dishes we had were amazing too 10/10 recommended this will be our new must go to stop when we come to the City.

The French onion soup left a lot to be desired, the Brie and Date should have been amazing but the amount of bacon overpowered the date apple jam and Brie flavours. The service was fine but nothing to brag about. Overall, I left unsatisfied and disappointed. I wouldn’t make an effort to go back.

I was greeted and seated and told a server would be with me shortly. A few minutes roll by and a group of 4 were sat down and a server was with them right after they sat down while I was still waiting to see a server. I was a single person so I don't understand completely ignoring a customer. This was my first time and last time here. Pretty shitty feeling.
