I eat here regularly. Great food. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. It's nice and cozy atmosphere. I often buy a book, then sit and enjoy my book and a great meal.

The food was delicious, I have been here many times and it never disappoints. However, my experience going here for lunch today was not positive. When we arrived (at around 1:00pm) there was a wait (as expected), and that would have been fine, except that we were told the wait would be 25 minutes, but it was actually over 40!
Everything went smoothly once we got to our table, but after we were done eating, we waited for the bill for over 20 minutes. Also, our water glasses were never refilled, and once we got our bill (after I had asked for it twice), the server took so long to come by with the machine that the other members of my party had to leave, and I went up and paid at the front cash register. I don't know if this is from being understaffed or having had a slow server, but I will think twice before coming to this restaurant again because of this experience.

They have the best soups. I cannot stop going here for soup. Mushroom, vegatable cheddar chowder, broccoli cheddar, sweet potato & carrot, all 10/10. Thank you for feeding my soup addiction.

I was quite surprised by the fact that the restaurant was inside a bookstore but I thought the idea was very interesting and decided to check It out, and let me tell you. The food was exquisite, it also had such a vivid favour it was unreal. The waiter who us was super nice too. The restaurant even had a beautiful tree inside making the atmosphere very comfortable! I was totally over the moon about my experience here, especially since there's a bookstore right beside it. I highly recommend it!

This is a great restaurant inside McNally Robinson. They had me at the peanut soup along with the shaved lamb. Took my father-in-law there for lunch to meet some old friends. The food is good and the service is quick. I find it a bit noisey, but the place was packed for lunch. There are four handicapped parking spots right outside. The bathrooms are a bit distant in the bookstore itself. But very popular with the older crowd

I received two egg salad sandwiches which should have been called “mayonaise sandwiches”. If there was even one egg in both sandwiches i’d be surprised. The stark white color of the “salad” was a tipoff.
I can not believe how good this food was and that I haven’t eaten here before. I had the Reuben sandwich and soup. 10/10 Will 100% be back

My colleague treated me to lunch on MOTHER'S DAY! I just put my fur baby down after having bought our condo and was super SAD ? I'd been wanting to try Prairie Ink. We decided to head down on Sunday...Mother's day! Our mistake. Lol We arrived at 1 and were told they were booked up but had a cancelation, so we waited until 1:45. We were sat by the manager, and our server promptly greeted us with menus and drink special info. The server was great, very attentive, and patient with us. I don't recall her name. She had long hair and dark rimmed glasses. After placing drink orders, we ordered our meals. It was not an easy choice as everything on the menu spoke to me. I had the Atlantic salmon with veggies and coconut Rice. DELICUOUS! I finished with key lime pie, and my colleague ordered cheese cake, so of course, we split and shared these! ? We also took some fruit tarts home. As a red Seal Pastry Chef, I love culinary experiences ❤️ that offer amazing atmosphere, hospitality, service, food, desserts, and drink options. Prairie Ink was an AMAZING experience, and I'll definitely go back to try more menu items. Thank you for squeezing us in on an already busy day and for not rushing us or making us feel like a bother. We stayed talking until you closed!
