We tried this place based on a friend’s recommendation. From the minute we got there we were impressed. Food, service and atmosphere were exceptional. I had the Croque Madame followed by the mini pavlova. Oh my gosh, they were fantastic!

Our server astutely suggested brown butter sauce on the side rather than on the arctic char, making it a lighter choice, suiting the guest's dietary needs exactly! The server's timing was bang on too! Good job, great experience!Dietary restrictions: The server's timely suggestion gave our guest precisely the dietary option they needed.

The first impression was better than the second! The best thing about our 2nd experience was the service. Our server was polite, friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, was able to answer questions and make recommendations, and was very attentive. Gold star for him! It was not overly busy so this allowed us ample visiting time after our dining experience had ended. I ordered the Gingered Pear cocktail, which was okay, a little too sweet for my liking. The ginger was too subtle imo. My main course was the King Salmon, and it was over cooked, and quite dry. I would have appreciated a little more sauce. The roasted zucchini was too mushy, and the potatoes were lukewarm. Dessert was okay, but the pastry was a little stale. My husband ordered the Smoked Brisket, and said it was delicious! He also enjoyed the red wine! We will definitely go back again sometime, but I will stick with a glass of Pinot Grigio and the Provençal Chicken!

Every dish we tried (Baked Brie, Wedge Salad, Tourtiere, Zucchini ‘Pasta’, Paris-Brest, Lemon Tart) was next-level delicious… and we thought the service and wine pairing recommendations were perfect!!!We were very impressed to learn that they make everything in house - how many restaurants can say that, anymore?! This is exactly the type of business we try to support. Thanks for such a memorable, enjoyable night out… we look forward to coming back!
I highly recommend for the outstanding service; great ambiance with excellent selection of quality local delicious food that's reasonably priced. Lots parking. Super clean quiet & friendly service everytime.

Trip to Winnipeg, always looking for different places to dine. This has very fine food and has specials for wine on Thursdays. The waiter we had was very knowledgeable about wines.Recommend Duck cassoulet, duck in special baked bean sauce, and garlic sausage. We had salmon very well prepared, not over baked. Palova for dessert was perfect. Will definitely return when next in Time in Winnipeg.

This is my second time here, and food is top notch. The Chef's passion and skill come through every dish. Ruslan service was enjoyable and professional. He had suggestions ready that were enhanced our Father and Daughter lunch. I would recommend Preservation Hall.

This was a huge disappointment. I couldn't let this go without writing a review. Just changing the paint from the last restaurant doesn't make it a better restaurant. The service was horrible. It took 15 mins to be acknowledged by anyone and to get water on the table it took 25 mins of being there. The server was odd and kept stepping on my foot under the table...back up dude!. The server came by to tell us that there was 4 tables ahead of us at the 2 hr mark which was weird and that didn't make it better. The meal itself took 2.75 hours for an entrée and it was awful. My steak was as if someone watered it and microwaved it, with zero taste. No spices or even a fried piece of meat in its juices. Nothing. The "special" sauce was honestly the exact flavor of what an A1 sauce would be...nothing special there! The carrots weren't glazed and the potatoes were spiced only with an obscene amount of garlic. and after we tried to get his attention for the bill...he dropped off a dessert menu infront of us, when we wanted to leave. Learn how to read the room buddy. If it wasn't for my friends and their great company, this would have been a completely horrible experience. If I could give a zero I would. I had to take most of my dinner home so I could spice it up and make it a little more favorable so it wasn't a complete waste of money! The a/c felt like it was on and then a blast of hot air...you were hot and cold the whole time. Not worth my time or money at all and I am shocked at all the 5 star reviews, I wish it was good but everyone at my table disliked their meal.
