“I'm from Saskatoon. A couple years ago, I was going to a show at the Burt with a friend who took me here. It was all the right things, so I went back again on my own, the next time I was in town for a show.

It's always busy on show nights. I had a broken leg (still do!) and I didn't want to sit on a high stool. Despite the crowd, space was made for me at a regular table.

Service was fast and friendly. I didn't feel rushed to finish and make room for other patrons. The food was tasty and it was a large portion.

The bathrooms deserve a mention as they are very large, accessible, and clean.

It's a great spot for pub food downtown, whether you're on your way to a show or not.“

“Visited for the first time and was very impressed. Our server was a delight, the wait for food wasn't long at all and all 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had the chicken pot pie and it was divine. Friend had the fish and chips and gave it 2 thumbs up! The atmosphere is very laid back with a mix of traditional and modern. Pricier but the food and the vibes make it so worth it. The ONLY issue - I am a wheelchair user and it was extremely difficult getting in and out of the restaurant. Also the tables are definitely not designed to have a wheelchair under it. 9/10 will visit again!“

“We attended on Valentine's Day and came in the middle of a bingo game....if you were playing it seemed like it would have been really fun, but coming in it was a bit distracting if not playing. It was very busy service was really good, and drinks were well made. Probably a great atmosphere if we were playing along.“

“VLTS. 1 pool table. Occasionally an event or band. Karaoke on the weekends I believe. I've never ordered food here. Don't know if they even have a kitchen to cook in. There's a shuffle board in the back past the washrooms. Quaint lil place to grab a beer. Support your local Legion.“

“Everything was good, great place to watch the game. Server was present but not attentive and when asking for things that we did not have, like napkins while they got them, it just had this underlining tone that we were inconveniencing them. Service was not bad tho, but would have had a better experience if the server was more friendly.“

“Love the food, the service and the venue. We were in Winnipeg for Grey Cuo in 2015 and happened upon Shannon's. Loved it then and after having returned to the city for the 112th Grey Cup we also returned to Shannon's. Not once, but twice. Still love it and it's our recommendation to anyone we know traveling to Shannon's. The food is decent, the drinks are great, we hit karaoke both times and that was fun to watch. Most importantly, both nights we had great servers. Friendly, attentive and on point with the orders. Considering the crowd both nights, they were pretty impressive. Cheers till next time!“

“Today we went to The Osborne Taphouse for breakfast, and it was such a great start to the day! I had the Breakfast BLT - perfectly toasted bread, fresh lettuce and tomato, crispy bacon, and just the right amount of sauce. My friend ordered the Prairie Breakfast, which came with eggs cooked perfectly, golden hashbrowns. Everything was fresh, hot. The service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Definitely one of the best spots in Winnipeg for a hearty breakfast!“

I had a the chicken fingers, very tasted - probably the better ones in the city if you like that. I don't believe there cisco.

While I was waiting for bill, a gentleman appeared ( suspect a manager ). He had a long conversation with the sever with out addressing the customer waiting for the server ( me). I have a thick skin, dealing with all types - other customers would have would have been rubbed wrong at that point. Great food, nice servers, poor management.“

“Lovely place… Clean, Super Friendly Staff, Fast & Easy Service.
Group of 8 went here between the hours of 8-10P.M. 100% would recommend for people looking to have fun.

Willing to refill iced tea & water which was super nice of them… also got the shot glasses (when we forgot to take them back, so thank you)

Drinks were at an average price… you’re looking between $6-12 per drink unless you want some FANCY STUFF. Then that will run your wallet but drinks were delicious.

Food was also sooooo good, 10/10 on that. Cooked to perfection - cool enough to eat too.

“My boyfriend and I have been coming here since we started dating. Every time we absolutely love the service. Never had the food however, they treat us with the upmost hospitality and are so respectful, and considerate (most especially Liz) we love it here!“

“Great place for a quick bite and a drink by yourself or with friends. Good amount of VLTs to choose from. Sometimes there is a short wait to cash a ticket in but that’s because the bartender is usually working alone, so don’t be in a rush and you’ll be fine. Friendly knowledgeable servers.“

The food was amazing and everyone took extra steps to ensure the gluten free food didn’t come into contact with our other meals.
