Amazing dining experience! Service, atmosphere and menu options and food itself were so so good! We got the Slumdog Chili-onaire to start, and what a delicious dish 🤤 For entrees, I got the seasonal House of Carbs pizza and it was exactly as our host had described when we were seated – everything you would want on a pizza on their fresh sourdough crust. No notes. My lunch date got the pick roll and we were astounded at how large the smaller serving size was and what a value it was on top of being delicious! I’m about to order the vanilla bean crème brûlée for dessert and I know it’ll be amazing. I cannot wait to come again and get to try something else.

I am not sure I have ever ordered wings anywhere where I have been served any less than a dozen for an order. Imagine my complete shock when I was served seven of the smallest, greasiest and tasteless (salt and pepper ) wings ever. Very disappointing for a restaurant of this calibre. 🙁

My mother and I wanted to go out for dinner to celebrate my new job and we chose Rae's Bistro. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We had two servers, Monessa and Maddie (the two had to make a switch afterwards) they were both pleasant, lovely and excellent in their service. We started off with Beet Chips, our new favorite appetizer!! Very delicious! For our entrées, I had the Seafood Linguine and it was the BEST pasta I've ever tasted in Winnipeg! Highly recommended if you love seafood. And my mother had one of their features, Root Scootin' Boogie (chicken salad). We both enjoyed our meal and later shared a Pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. The portions are hearty and we really got our money's worth. Thank you Rae's Bistro for a wonderful night, I'd give you 10 stars if I could! We will definitely be coming back here more often!

A very well hidden gem of a place to eat. Located in a small neighbourhood strip mall, I stopped in for a quick bite before a show and was more expecting 'bar food' but received an impressive meal that left me dumbstruck as to why I hadn't stopped in before or more often. Ordered steak bites and a bisque from the starter menu and had the salmon off the entrees. Was asked if we wanted the starters served right away or with the entree and we asked to have it with the entree. The only complaint about the steak bites was it wasn't as hot as expected, my guess would be that it was plated when it would normally been served but even still, the taste and flavours were outstanding. The bisque was fantastic and the salmon was all it could be. Declined the opportunity to have dessert as we were in a rush to go to a show right after which is also why I didn't bring up my issue with the steak bites but from my experience I had here I don't doubt it would have been rectified fully to my satisfaction. Most definitely will be returning and will easily order those steak bites again and try more dishes off the menu.

We went to Rae’s for my girlfriend’s birthday and we were blown away with the level of service we received! We ordered pizza and two steaks. The flavours were exceptional but the pizza and one of the steaks were a bit overcooked. When they brought the food out they already had another pizza in the oven for us. They didnt charge us for the pizza at all even though they gave us twi pizza’s basically. We didnt want to make a fuss over the steak since they already made us a new pizza and didnt charge us but they made sure we got another steak as well. To top it off they even gave us a gift card for our next visit. This was by far the best and most attentive service I have ever received from a restaurant. Big thank you to Tim and Brandi for their lovely service. My girlfriend was having a rough day prior to dinner but Rae’s Bistro went above and beyond to male sure she had a great evening. We live on the opposite side of the city but we will definitely be making the drive to go back!

I had dinner here for the first time on August 25th, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Abby was my server, and she was incredibly prompt, friendly, and helpful. Being new to the restaurant, I wasn’t sure what to order, but Abby took the time to walk me through the menu and explain both food and drink options in detail.
The food arrived quickly and exceeded my expectations. I ordered the chicken fingers and the bruschetta chicken — both dishes were absolutely delicious! The portion sizes were generous, and everything was cooked to perfection.
A big congratulations to Danny and Jill for creating such an amazing restaurant. From the great service to the outstanding food, it’s clear that a lot of care and passion goes into every part of the dining experience. I’ll definitely be back!

Rae's has great atmosphere, amazing service, a feature menu that's constantly changing and always rotating local taps. Easy to be a regular because options are always changing.
Try some beat chips with your order, they are a must for me. Pizza's are made on a delicious sour dough, i often order the beef tacos and Tuna Nachos are a mut try. Hard to go wrong with anything on the menu.
Try our Rae's and I bet you will quickly become a regular.
