easily the worst burger I ever choked back dry and tasteless I would never eat there again EVER totally gross
always great going there. Food is always spot on. Quick and efficient
Great greasy spoon, quick friendly staff, good food and big portions
Absolutely LOVE this place. I've been coming here for nearly 40 years and I've never had a bad meal. Great food, nostalgic decor, personable wait staff, one of my fav spots in the city
Reminiscent of the Diners from the 60's. Friendly, fast service and tasty food! Busy at lunch time. It cleared out a bit by 1:30. Highly recommend.
I did the mayor burger. It was a very outstanding burger. Ranch dressing gyro meat bacon and a beef pattie.
Red Top has large portions, and eating there is relatively affordable compared to other burger places. The Lot-O-Burger is loaded with toppings and has an excellent amount of each topping. Fries and fresh and crispy. When I've dined in person, the service has always been friendly and approachable. The atmosphere in the diner is perfect for an outting with family, or for a quick bite to eat. My only complaint is that sometimes the burgers are a little dry. I've had a better time ordering during peak times when everything is super fresh. Other than that, a really solid choice for a great burger and fries!
We visited from out of province and were really looking forward to a Big Boy type of burger. We had tried Nick's and Super Boys and they were closed for the Easter holiday. I hadn't been at The Red Top for over 25 years so thought I would give it a try. Service was great and the restaurant hasn't changed a bit over the years - it reeks of nostalgia which is awesome. I ordered a burger and fries. The burger was good but the chili didn't have the bite that I am used to from the other two restaurants. The fries were good but the portion was much smaller than either of the other two restaurants. Happy to get my Greek burger fix but will go back to my favourites on my next time in Winnipeg.
Lovely staff, good food, cool old diner, fun atmosphere. Reasonable pricing. Good menu variety.
A very retro restaurant. When you walk in the smell is amazing. Big portions of what you order. Service was amazing! Definitely will return!

Classic diner experience with affordable options.
Back to the Peg! Braemar, St. Vital, Holden, Norwood, the Red……Oh ya, The Red Top is alive and well.
I ordered the cheese burger and fries, and the cheese burger was fantastic. Unfortunately the fries were very greasy and I did not eat many of them. I wonder if they had been sitting in grease for too long?
The service was very good and my server was friendly and came back often enough that I was well looked after.
Food was amazing!!! Price was very affordable!!
Service however was terrible, unless your one of the regulars don’t expect quick service. We waited over 45 mins for our breakfast. People that arrived after us got their food and even payed for and were gone before we received ours.
The best strawberry milkshake I've had in a long time!
Lot-O-Burger was great too. Classic burger with cheese.
Parking lot can really fill up during popular meal times!
