Ordered chole bhature this morning and was quite disappointed with the quality. The chole didn’t taste fresh — it seemed like it was just thrown together to complete the order. The gravy was watery, and the chickpeas were hard. The bhature were extremely oily and hard, more like a papad than the soft, fluffy texture you’d expect.
I usually don’t call to complain unless something is seriously wrong, but this time I had to. When I called, the chef insisted everything was made fresh and there was nothing wrong on their end. All I got was a basic “sorry,” which didn’t really make up for the poor quality.
Definitely won’t be ordering again from the Regent location.
