We were there for lunch today and I'll admit... I wasn't expecting much. HOWEVER... to my surprise, this amazing cheeseburger with spectacular fries was placed in front of me.Everything was fresh and hot.Our service was excellent.Overall a wonderful experience and we will definitely be return customers!I know it may sound silly me raving about a cheeseburger and fries but seriously... it was the best. This place is a not so hidden gem.

Good quality, reasonable portions.Attended with a special needs (blind) friend and staff were very accommodating, even waiting after closing for his ride to get there.Clean and well maintained dining area and men’s washroom. Will likely be back and recommend.

Went for morning breakfast with my son. Was ignored by staff. waited and was watching for the waiter, i waved to him and he seen me then went to go see two men that were just sitting down, the other customer didn't even have his jacket off , so i went there to tell him we were still waiting, i overheard him asking them if they'd like coffee. He still ignored us, then i seen him go talk to his coworkers, they all looked at us. He went to the back to get the peoples order so i thought the other waitress would come take our order instead she went to the next people that just sat down. We ended up leaving. i met the waiter bringing the guys coffee out and asked him why did you have to be so rude, by still ignoring us? he did say I'm sorry they didn't tell us you were seated. REALLY? i clearly went up to him to ask to be served and was still ignored not only by him but three other staff. Walked out. I called to make a complaint to the manager. Very upset I am an aboriginal woman, unsure if this had anything to do with our treatment, or thinking of course its why.. hate thinking that way

Ordered breakfast delivery through skip seems like the restaurant has gotten a new cook or the restaurant has really went down hill, toast was black, shredded potatoes were not cooked and raw. As for the bacon I don't understand how something can be over cooked and under cooked at the same time. I never thought pancakes could be so thin and tasteless, the ham and French toast seemed to be only fried on one side. Would definitely not recommend eating anything from this restaurant. Just a few words for the cook practice at home not in a restaurant serving paying customers. culinary school would help

Horrible experience, we had to flag down a server to be seated. Once seated the server was friendly but it was forced. Meal came out, coleslaw was spoiled and the fish was deep fried to the point of being hard. Terrible food. One couple complained about the food and the server went to the back to tell the cook in their language and the conversation was, who cares more or less. Everyone has something to complain about. They went on to discuss people are spoiled.Too bad Perkins is gone. Miss that place

Nice family breakfast dine-in spot. Great options. First time trying other. We went here on a Thursday morning around 9:30 am ish, semi-busy breakfast time around the first week of October.Nice locally owned business, home-y, type vibe inside. We indicated to our server that we were going to dine in and then order a meal to go for my father later on, but she never got back to us when we originally asked her and once we got the bill it wasn’t included as a takeout so we kinda just left it at that and didn’t bring anything home for my father from here to eat. Not that big of a deal, just the waiting part and waiting to hear for an answer and not getting one was kinda confusing. It’s okay though, it was a busy morning.Price points are are decent. Food portions are good.I really craved an eggs Benedict (without the meat) on this day. It was a classic with shredded potatoes (which were spot on tasty & fresh) but the taste could’ve had a bit more flavour added into the hollandaise sauce as it was a bit bland for me, and a small bowl of fruits. For this I would give it a 4/5 star rating because as you can see in the photos the fruits I got were NOT fresh at all.. kinda seemed like a day or two old fruits, especially the ones hidden in the bottom of the bowl, so those were not edible for me. The price for this meal was $15.99.Camomile tea to top off the meal was great. Mom and I both had our own little tea pots $3.50Mom’s breakfast order was shredded potatoes, rye toast (looks like a cinnamon bun style but it was indeed rye), sunny side up eggs and bacon. She enjoyed this meal.Very family and kid friendly restaurant. As per the menu Kids eat FREE - kids under 12 on Monday and Tuesday with the purchase of a regular priced menu item (& you would get 1 FREE Kids Meal)Monday’s - chicken quesadillasTuesday’s - onion ringsWednesday’s - deep fried dill picklesThursday’s - perogiesFriday’s - wingsThe above day of the week menu goes on from 3pm-7pm daily at 50% off appetizersAdding this to their restaurant was a nice touch. Still would definitely recommend

I was skeptical about this place. Turnover places like this are hit or miss. This one is DEFINITELY a hit! The potato pancakes are utterly unique and delicious. Their sausages taste a little funny but the thick cut bacon more than makes up for it.

Came in this evening party of 3. Server was nice but the food that came out of the kitchen.... not nice. One of the sides was corn and you could smell it rotten tasted so gross. Told the server she took it back asked for new veggies didn't go back to the corn for obvious reasons. Server brings back the food on the same plate the rotten corn was on. Then I'm eating my first bite my meat not cook was red. By the time i got my meal back to me my party i was with was done eating. So thats 2 out of 3. Was surpised to see the bill at the end to not even take drinks off the bill or take at least one meal off the bill. Sorry to say I won't be back here for awhile or I will stick with breakfast!

First off, the staff is great everytime we have went and leftthey have been friendly. Customer service skills is what makes up for the lack of food items or taste for food. I'm not saying the food is bad or anything it's pretty decent but there really isn't a big selection of food.I don't know how to run a restaurant but If I did I would update the menus with new items or a special item of the day to stay fresh and fuse the senior menu with regular menu as well so you don't ask the staff. Booths need to be redone it feels like your just sitting in metal springs with no cushions.all and all everyone is a critic and my rating is 4/5

I went out for supper with a co-worker and was wanting breakfast. We chose this place over smittys as I had never been here before and I have to say it was the right call. The breakfast was amazing and the server was very pleasant. I'd even go as far to say that breakfast was better than the Perkins that used to be there. A lot more on the menu I may return to try.

Well wasn't impressed with the food. Chicken noodle soup was can soup/so disappointed!!! Now the cheeseburger was awful it was a frozen patty again very disappointed, but the fries and coffee were okay ! I probably won't go back. Waitress was nice and service was fine?

Went for breakfast, ordered the florentine skillet with pancakes and chicken wings. My fiancé said the wings were ok not great. I was brought out the all meat skillet and no pancakes. So while my fiancé ate his wings while I ended up waiting for all of my food. When I did finally get the correct order, pancakes were lumpy and flat and the skillet was fine. Got my check and they didn't even bother giving us a discount. That wouldn't have bothered so much if the food was good. Complete waste of time and money. Won't be going back.

We enjoyed our brunch at R&R this morning! my first low carb day.. I had an omlette Florentino without the Hollandaise, no toast, side of bacon, and tomato slices instead of hash browns. It would be great to have a Keto or low carb option on the menu to make it more affordable! it was delicious, and we were able to watch the dog in the car with the A/C on cause we were 10 ft away!
