I was excited to try this place! However, I was really dissapointed to be charged $20 for a mocktail, which is the same price as if it had alcohol. Unfortunately I dont think I will be returning due to this..

Atmosphere is great. Very cute spot for coffee and/or wine. Love that they offer decaf espresso too.Food is a little lacking but it’s great if you are just going for snacks.

We went for drinks and tried their wine flight (I liked 3/4). Appropriately attentive server and great atmosphere. We're planning to come back and try the food. Best suited to small groups - most seating arranged in pairs. Paid parking lot next door.

Love the design and atmosphere, it's definitely one of a datenight place. Love the flight latte, well portion food and presentation was also good. Server was very attentive and informative. Definitely will be coming back, so much so that I told to my son to apply there ?

Very hip spot. Felt kind of underground and liked the esthetic. We stumbled upon it while walking past on an exchange date night and were lucky enough to get a seat for a drink without a reservation. We ordered Maple Old Fashions and I have to say, they were the most underwhelming old fashions we have ever had. Wisers old fashioned mix in a bottle from the store has more creativity. We were going to have an appetizer while we had our drink but nothing stood out to us as worth trying for the gluten-free options (im celiac). Based off the lack of effort on the drink and that the prices seemed quite high for being nextdoor to the Woodbine, we decided to eat at our next stop. Where there was better options then shrimp cocktail and caviar. Probably wouldn't return but am glad we stopped in and checked it out.

I love the fancy zealous nature of this place. The architecture is very pretty and there is also a fun aspect to the atmosphere with the funky prints that the place has. I would HIGHLY recommend coming here for lunch. Their cafe drinks are delicious and sizeable for the price ($6) and the presentation is gorgeous! The charcuterie board ($22) is also delicious. I was surprised cheese was extra, but I found that cheese was not missing on the charcuterie board as it was incredibly flavourful and kept me decently satiated for a bit. The alcoholic beverages do seem a bit small, so if you are someone who is a lightweight like me, I suspect you will be able to have quite a few without getting buzzed, which is a plus for me. The drinks are also gorgeous with different garnishes and glasses for presentation and are quite tasty. The sourdough toast is also absolutely delicious and filling. Dessert is never a miss! Unfortunately, I would not recommend their entrées at this point. My rule of thumb with entrées is I am happy to pay a lot for a small portion if it is absolutely amazing, or to pay a lot for a moderate or large portion if it is mediocre or good. Unfortunately, the chicken entrée ($25) was a small portion and was ... okay. I was perplexed because when I cut into it, it squirted out juice, so I thought it meant it should be juicy but it tasted... dry? The salmon ($35) was definitely better and I loved the char on it, but there was not a lot of flavour in it. If you really love the taste of salmon, this is for you! I like salmon, but I do like just... slightly more flavour. The staff were amazing and have been very friendly every time. I am sure if I brought it up they would have replaced it or refunded me so I am giving them a 5 on service. I was just trying so hard to like it and tried to find the chicken tasty but at the end of the supper, once I got home, I was a bit dissatisfied and hungry. They may improve on their entrées yet and I have faith, it will just take me a while before I can afford having supper here again. I will definitely come here for lunch or brunch again as they knock that out of the park and I crave the sourdough creations and I absolutely adore their coffee drinks and occasionally like to try their specialty cocktails.
