Today I ordered from Royal paan and was quite disappointed with my experience. While the idea of indulging in Amritsari Dosa and Masala Dosa was enticing, the reality was far from it. Unfortunately, both the Amritsari Dosa and Masala Dosa were found to contain hair, which is incredibly unsanitary and unacceptable. Additionally, the order arrived without any napkins or cutlery, making it inconvenient to consume the food. Such basic oversights significantly diminish the overall dining experience. I hope the restaurant takes immediate steps to improve its hygiene standards and packaging practices.

I ordered the masala dosa, which was much spicier than the level we requested, making it difficult to enjoy. Additionally, the pav bhaji was served with small burger buns instead of traditional pav, and the bhaji itself tasted overly oily and like a basic masala tadka. Overall, the meal didn’t meet my expectations, and I left feeling unsatisfied. It took them almost 45 mins to get my order ready and on top of that they were blasting the air conditioner making experience unpleasant.

Went there on Sep 8, 2024 at 9:00 pm, ordered at 9:05 pm and came back without eating at 9:35 pm. After waiting for half an hour, I asked the girl that we are waiting from last half an hour and she was speechless, no sorry gestures and I asked her to don’t make it if you have not started yet because people entered after us was eating their food. She didn’t bother to ask us to wait or see the kitchen how long it gona take and just said ok and as soon as I turned my face, she was telling the other girls and they were laughing. If you are having the customers, value their time. You don’t know when you stop getting them especially if you will not improve your customer service or atleast teach the front staff how to provide customer service. I, my family and friends will never be coming back because you guys don’t have time to serve people.

This unassuming place doesn’t look like much from the outside, however, once you step in, it’s a fully renovated place with clean tables, ample lighting, and smiling staff that welcome you once you walk in.
The menu itself is a QR code. It’s nice but would benefit from photos as someone who’s not too familiar with the full range of Indian food. (They also serve a limited selection of Chinese food). The whole menu is vegetarian with vegan, gluten free and kid friendly options.
My partner and I had pani puri, paneer dosa, chai, samosas and hot and sour soup.
The pani puri was a generous serving and tasted crisp and fresh. The samosas were okay, if I’m being generous honest. The hot and sour soup is not your traditional Chinese style. It’s more of a tomato and onion based soup. It is hot but not very sour as one would expect.
The paneer dosa was absolutely amazing. It was fresh and hot. The dosa was cooked and charred perfectly. But the filling was delicious. It was perfectly seasoned. Just a warning though that it is spicy (and I often eat Ethiopian and spicy Thai food)
Will definitely try other items on the menu. Good pricing and friendly staff, and good sized portions for the price.
