Extremely disappointed. Got the hakata ramen. The broth was a salt bomb and the noodles were hard. The bok choy was in a weird clump that seemed questionable. Even the egg wasn't cut in half. For around $25, this was brutal. Service was okay, but the food was very, very bad

I tried Hakata ramen, and overall, it was just okay. Unlike other ramen places, it didnāt include corn or wood ear mushrooms. The pork belly was too fatty for my taste, so I had to separate the fat from the meat. I was also surprised they only provided disposable utensilsāa one-time-use spoon and chopsticksāinstead of regular ones. It was a decent experience, but nothing memorable.

Worst ramen I've ever tried 𤮠why's it taste so nasty?! Inedible.

Ordered Chicken Karaage Ramen, I dunno but I barely can eat the food due to its saltiness. Ask them if thatās how it is supposed to taste; the cashier said thatās how they make it and if itās salty they resolve it by giving you a pork broth.
My brother used to be a line cook in a Japanese restaurant and feeds me with ramen and other Japanese cuisine. I dunno if itās supposed to taste that way lol maybe, but I was able to transfer the noodles to the beef broth and finish the noodle because I donāt want my money to go to waste lol
Maybe the other food tastes better, will try again next time.

As a cook and chef with 19 years of experience and a health wise vegetarian, I can say that in a year of weekly orders, this is the best agedashi tofu that I have tried across Canada. I also LOVE chicken bao (I ask you to replace chicken with tofu) with regular koji mayo. It's the same taste with vegetarian ramen and vegetarian donburi š¤š¼ The best place where you can get Asian vegetarian food WITH TASTE.
In any case, I've never tried anything like this. After Saburo, any other local vegetarian cuisine seems simply bland.

A real disappointment given the association with top Japanese chefs! Tried Chasu Bao and DanDan Bao. Both buns soggy! Chasu 3 small slices of pork belly, cucumber and some gravy sauce. No great flavour profile and give it a miss! DanDan was⦠politely⦠inedible! Ground pork consistency of flavourless gravy. Crispy pork dumplings a 1* with little Japanese flavour i.e Soy sauce.
We should have grabbed a cold Flank sandwich one floor below!
Canāt see returning to try other offeringsš

Whether you like this place or not will probably depend on how much you like Ramen, and how often and where you've had it.
If you're new to it, you might like this place. However, (I'm not trying to sound pretentious, even though this will come off that way) I've been lucky enough to have traveled to Japan a couple times and had great ramen. I also live in Las Vegas, which has quite a few authentic ramen establishments. If you are anything like me, you will find this place extremely underwhelming, or possibly even bad.
I had the Pork Dumping Ramen. The noodles lacked any texture, and the broth was too salty and not pork shoyu at all really. I feel like I've had this ramen before, but I bought it at Costco and microwaved it myself late at night.
Perhaps some of the other dishes are alright. I certainly would order something other than the ramen if I were to come here again.

The peanut dandan raman was heavenly. Price wise raman is worth it. Cant say the same for other items on the menu. Price wise they are not worth it.

I love this place so much that I literally walk 45 mins each way just to eat here. Each bao bun Iāve tried is ever better than the previous, the Dan Dan being the best so far as it has a peanut sauce to die for. Staff are always friendly and have been super accommodating to my allergy with checking ingredients for me.
