1st time trying Salisbury House, Pembina Hwy, Winnipeg. Ordered the Silver Salisbury Steak + Silver Cod & Fries, set meal came with main course + dinner roll/ garlic toast + coffee/ tea + donut/ ice cream. Delicious Silver meal + value for money! Yummy Super Salisbury Steak with reasonable price. Excellent service. Clean + bright restaurant. Highly recommend!

Nice place. Waited over 35 minutes for a cheese nip and some fries. Unfortunately I ended up with food poisoning from here. Will not be coming back here again. The staff is really nice.

My food was ok.
The other person's was not great.
Asked for the slaw on burger on side, but was on the burger.
So server took back but im sure they just scraped off...n sent it back out.
Guest was very unhappy with the burger not tasting great. 1st time ever at a Salisbury house.
And the slaw could of been stirred up better. Little dry till he stirred up.
Probably not going back to this location...

I’m not sure if the staff here are incompetent or if there’s another issue, but the service was extremely poor. I recommend going elsewhere.

A great place to linger over breakfast with family and friends. Seniors menu for geezers like us. Servers were friendly and did not rush us. Sal's is a long standing Winnipeg institution. 'Nips' is an odd localism for 'hamburger'. It's a neighborhood *cafe*; not a neighborhood *bar*.

This sals has amazing food, and honestly the best atmosphere in the city for Salisbury Houses. It's a beautiful set up, nice decorations, and the customer service is fantastic every time I've been. They have even let me order coffee, sit, and work on my laptop on multiple occasions which I really appreciate. Love this Salisbury house!

Waited at the door for a while and no greeting, no smile, nothing to say to our family with kids then they helped the people behind us, very rude.
