The food was great & made to order. Service was good & she was friendly. I'm actually writing my review in regards to the bathroom facilities! For being in a high end business area, the bathroom was atrociously dirty, especially the toilet. Looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years!! Absolutely disgusting!! I would've went elsewhere but couldn't hold it in...

What a delight to find this place for a classic breakfast! We came here on our way to Churchill and made sure we returned on our way home. Shirl was our server both times. She’s great. Highly recommend this place for food, service and atmosphere.

Decent burgers. The soup of the day which was chicken noodle soup was really salty. Old gentleman server & sweet east indian servers were really helpful, friendly and approachable

Conveniently located in Downtown Winnipeg in an historic building. The menu offers interesting and varied meal options. The atmosphere of the place puts us in a 1930's vibe and the old furniture and the decor has some personality even. This doesn't feel like a chain restaurant, but more like a family eatery.

The server was always kind and helpful despite being alone on a busy day. Their pancakes are delicious.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I have never seen a kitchen so flustered with 20 people in the restaurant. I was under the impression that i would be able to order takeout and receive it in about 30 minutes…. it took 55 minutes before i asked for a refund and they hadn’t even started the food at that point (even with constant reminders from staff). I also saw them put fries on a plate that were sitting since i got there. Don’t come in unless you have the whole day to spend here (and want food that’s been sitting lol).

Met a long time friend here on recommendation. Not too busy, short wait time, bench seating offered privacy. The menu ? You can't make a mistake !

Parking: The address is 177 Lombard but only a small sign over the inside entrance door. No signs outside to advertise it's a restaurant. Indoors is a security officer to control building access.

Kid-friendliness: This is a business luncheon spot. Kids are welcomed but atmosphere doesn't lend itself to a good kid venue.

Perfect spot to "get stuck in traffic" and have a late breakfast. Went during morning rush hour and had a server as charming as the architecture of the building its featured in. Food was spot on and fast. There's an option to pay at the table with a QR code, made paying the bill a breeze. Would highly recommend as something familiar but different in a very pleasant way.
