I was looking forward to eating at Saperavi. Unfortunately, my partner and I were disappointed. The place was stuffy and not well ventilated, it got really hot and the smells from the kitchen were strong. Otherwise the atmosphere was bland.
The prices of everything from appetizers to mains are high and seemed unreasonable to us. The food was ok but not as good as I remembered from other Georgian restaurants. it wasn’t worth the money.

The khachapuri was delicious, the shashlik was okay, the khinkali weren't salty enough and didn't have enough spices or herbs, so the flavor wasn't rich. We waited 45 minutes for the khinkali, which is a very long time (the desserts were freshly made and hadn't had time to soak, so we didn't get to try them). The portion sizes and prices are not equivalent.

hard to call this place Georgian cuisine.
Chkmeruli we received was just three pieces of plain baked chicken in a thin, unclear sauce, nothing like the rich, garlicky dish it’s supposed to be. Shashlyk was three large chunks of simply fried meat, even though we were told it would be cooked on a traditional grill (mangal). The only decent dish was the khachapuri.
We’ve been to Georgi, lived there and know how these dishes should taste. What was served here does not resemble authentic Georgian food at all. If it’s not prepared traditionally, it shouldn’t be presented as Georgian cuisine!

we had a family gathering, and feasted. Everything we tried was so delicious that we can't wait to return to taste new dishes...but are torn because there's only so much food we can taste!

What can I say? Perhaps one of the best restaurants in Winnipeg, possibly the Prairies? Yes! My partner and I went out here for a wonderful Valentine's Day meal. Started from their excellent selection of wines, and beers. We ordered a Khachapuri to share, followed by two main dishes: the pork Shashlik (grilled meat) and the chicken Chkmeruli served with potatoes and rice. Everything was cooked to perfection, flavourful and fresh. The service was outstanding and attentive. This is how restaurants ought to be run. The bill was a little on the high side relative to the proportions but that is okay. It was well worth it. I would highly recommend a visit.

Went for a birthday and had a family style meal. Staff was very friendly and restocked items as needed. The private room is very nice and a good size for approx 15 ppl. The khachapuri is sooooo insanely delicious. Will be back!

This time wanted to try everything and almost did started with soko mushrooms simple but tasty and juicy, then the bread omg the khachapuri adjaruli soft flat bread filled with cheese yum could make a meal of this next khinkhale mushroom ones and pork ones had them the first time the mushroom ones were dry the first time this time very juicy and cooked perfectly the pork ones were nice and juicy as well the new chef has added new things to the menu had shashlyk it's done over charcoal gives it a nice smoke flavor. Will definitely be back sooner next time this is now one of my all time favorites

The appetizers were delicious. We had the Kubdari, Georgian salad and the soko mushrooms which were addicting. I love how the dumplings are shaped like garlic-the taste was okay for me personally. The Chkmeruli was cooked nicely and had a great homey flavour. The Chicken tapaka had a nice smokey flavour and it wasn't dry at all. The servers were attentive and ambience was nice.
