I've been in Canada for about two years and in all that time I've found the only place and coffee that's tasty and enjoyable to drink. It's a shame that all those Hortons and other McDonalds and others sell the most disgusting coffee I've ever tried. In this place, the coffee is truly delicious, I often take ground espresso. If it were second cup, I would still think that there is no tasty coffee in Canada, in particular espresso

Coffees thru skip the dish. What kinda coffee shop packages drinks like this? With plastic wrap and plastic bag? Aren’t they supposed
To have a little sticker to prevent spilling and be securely packaged in a paper bag? It was a major disappointment. The bridgwater location didn’t package like this when I ordered last time. I’m so confused why this location is so terrible

Severely lacked a warm and welcoming energy. The woman who took my order barely looked at me, was very cold and distracted. I could not wait to get out of there! The one thing I look forward to while visiting coffee shops (other than the coffee) is a friendly, kind and welcoming atmosphere where there is someone willing to ask me how my day was or even being greeted by a simple hello and a smile. Instead I felt ignored and uncomfortable. I don’t think I’ll be visiting anytime soon.

I always come to second cup coffee shop so many times to get a coffees. But today December 07, 2024, timing 6:15 to 6:20pm i and my wife wants a lemon cake. So I ordered it at front Counter giving 5$ cash. But this Chinese or Korean or Japanese i don't know treated us so rude. She snatched my money out of my money and throw my 25 cents on counter. She's so rude. I want the management to take a action at this lady. Otherwise her bad behavior gonna end up loosing the second cup customer. As I'm not coming back here again. Thank you for treating us so bad.

Every time I go there the coffee gets more expensive $3 for a small black coffee! And it’s never hot, it’s old and been sitting all day.

Poor customer service skills. Walked up to order and found the girl behind cash crouched down busy on her phone, another girl in a corner with her back turned away completely oblivious of customers. Once both realized, neither smiled or apologized, seemed more bothered I had interrupted them? Not a positive environment at all. Disappointing they feel this is appropriate behaviour. After reading other reviews, I hope the owner focuses on customer service standards with employees, as it seems to be the common feedback.

I worked here when I was 18-19 in 2011-2013 or something. I am not a bubbly person but I’m friendly, a hard and fast worker, and I went on to work at a Starbucks before becoming a nurse. Anyways, because I was quieter than the other employees, the owners of this Second Cup franchise cut down my hours without consulting with me first. I was in university and needed some income. When I confronted them about it, they told me I have “social phobia” as if they’re licensed to diagnose me with anything. I remember being so taken aback and crying when they said this. They gradually cut down my hours because of my personality which is quiet but hard working and did not affect my work ethic. I’d rate them a 0 if I could! Hope they have different owners now but who knows.

Ordered 2 drinks both the same. Inconsistently made. One with caramel, one without.Was also not happy that there was only one dairy free drink special presented on the menu...some of their previous oatmilk drink specials were priced on par with dairy but when you substitute it in another drink it costs you 80cents. Come on already.
