I went to Second Cup for a smoothie this afternoon and asked for it without ice..only to be handed a cup filled barely halfway, but charged the full $8. When I questioned it, I was told they ‘can’t change the measurement,’ which basically means if you don’t want ice, you get less product but pay the same price. That feels really unfair…! customers are paying for a beverage, not for a cup of ice. I’ve now tested this with different staff, and it seems to be the store’s policy, not just one person. Please reconsider this practice..it’s disappointing, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend paying $8 for half a smoothie. I thought ice was supposed to be a filler, not the main ingredient! Charging full price for half a drink feels like selling a sandwich without bread and still calling it a sandwich. Note to future customers: if you don’t want ice, bring your own juice box to top it up.

This isn’t even coffee. It’s worse than Tim Hortons — and that’s saying something, because Tims is already pretty bad. But at least Tim Hortons is cheap and you know what to expect. This place charges $5 for something that tastes like burnt water with a hint of despair.
I’m not reviewing the café or the vibe — just the coffee. And the coffee here is very low quality, nowhere near what real coffee should taste like. It’s not even in the same universe as proper coffee from actual specialty cafés. If you’re looking for a decent cup, avoid this place.

I LOVE SECOND CUP‼️‼️‼️‼️ I come here every single day and order extremely complex drinks to test the staff and the only employees to get it right every time was Hanna and Emma. Amazing service, always so nice every time and easily the FASTEST service I have ever got. I’m talking finished making my drink before I even finished paying… BEFORE I COULD EVEN TAKE OUT MY WALLET‼️‼️‼️‼️ Truly magnificent and I would not go anywhere else for coffee in the area when a place like this exists. The regulars also have such a nice companionship and treat the baristas like family. And TALK ABOUT THE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES‼️‼️‼️When you warm one of those bad boys up it’s like heaven came down to earth and shoved a cookie in your mouth. COME TO SECOND CUP REGENT‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

I have been visiting the coffee shop for two years. It was very nice to walk around and drink great coffee, the best in the whole area! But then Emma, the barista, started working. Who apparently doesn't know how to make coffee. The milk is not whipped and the coffee is cold!!! Please pay attention to this! From now on, I don't buy coffee from Emma, it's disgusting! To other employees, thank you very much for the coffee❤️. It's a shame that one person spoils the opinion of the entire company.

The 5 stars for service is truly just for the staff. I want them to know they are excellent and my review has nothing to do with their hard work. Second cup is extremely overpriced for extremely below average coffee. A small cappuccino is $5.32, which makes it more expensive than Starbucks, and more expensive than local coffee shops ( Thom Bargen, Colosimo, Scout ). This location could use some love, the fridge in the front is so loud, you can’t sit at the front and talk to your friend without having to talk over the loud fridge.
I understand they are in the mall and the convenience is there, they are the only option. After going a few times, I will not be returning.

Come here often on Sundays with my boyfriend. Same girl that serves us was in this afternoon. Do better with your uber packaging, no need to be rude/petty about it. The drinks did, in fact, spill.
I always rate a coffee shop by their Lattes. No sugar added or flavor. Just the coffee. This coffee they use here is bitter and absolutely makes me dislike drinking coffee altogether. Whatever bean they're using , it sucks. Period.

You would have thought a place named like this should have a good, at least decent, cup of expresso. Wrong! Even worst, I ordered a doble one. Got mine and the look already was bad, almost no cream. I should have returned it, but drank it anyways, and it wasn't a nice experience. Definitively not recommended.
