Staff were lovely and welcoming but didn't hover and we never felt like we were being upsold or pushed around.Food came out as it was fresh which was fun, and it was all delicious. Calimari tempura especially was amazing (even though we couldn't finish it and still have room for everything else!) so firm and bouncy and perfectly battered. We liked the croquettes and the deep fried rolls best, but the star of the day was the yakisoba. I have so little faith in any chef cooking chicken, and was so excited to be proven soundly wrong by this one.We didn't see a drinks menu, and none of us felt brave enough to ask if they had any teas, but that didn't detract at all. The water was clean and refills came at a good pace.Will most definitely be back.

The food is always truly AMAZING. Kudos to the chefs.The service is horrible every single time we have dined in there. The servers are rude and short with you and make you feel like you should eat VERY FAST and leave their establishment. They don’t check up on you, and you have to ask for the bill and to package your food up yourself if you have leftovers. It used to be our favourite place and we only get the lunch special for pick up.Even ordering pick up they are so rude and rush you, even though they make you wait 30 mins plus. We’ve paid and ordered for extra soy sauce that we have never received either. Really sad that whoever owns this place now let it go downhill.

Dined in last evening for Teriyaki chicken. Was HUGELY disappointed with the portion size for the price. Definitely won't order it again, and won't go for dinner again. Last time I saw this ordered at lunchtime by a friend the portion was twice as much. Very disappointing.

I really enjoyed the takoyaki and sashimi, they were delicious! Delighted with the sushi and appetizers, both were exceptional! However, despite the restaurant being only half full, the wait was a tad lengthy. Nonetheless, the overall experience was pleasant, with a warm atmosphere. Service was satisfactory too!

RAMEN SUCKS, sushi tastes great.DO NOT ORDER THE SPICY RAMEN IT TASTE EXACTLY LIKE THE PACKAGE SHIN RAMEN YOU GET FROM THE STORE THAT ONLY COST 2-4 DOLLAR PER PACK!!!As a foodie, this ruined my appetite completely, knowing a well-established restaurant sells $15.50 Ramen that uses $2 Shin ramen as the broth base and ramen flavouring. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. WILL NOT ORDER AGAIN. I would have given it one star, but since their sushi is quite good, their sushi deserves another star.

I went here today, I wear hearing aids but I told the waitress this… she didn’t care… she still insisted I ordered something completely different… which I didn’t… then when I went to try it… the shrimp was bloody disgusting and still made me pay… if you wear hearing aid…

First time ordering from Sei. Best Yam Tempura I have ever tasted! Bakudan as good as any I have had. Spicy Salmon had really nice tempura on it. Alaska Roll was incredible! Wife loved her Michigan Roll as well. Will absolutely be back again.
