My new favourite in Winnipeg! We started with the Panang dip with fried naan. The dip was delicious - somewhat sweet and coconuty; paired with the crispy naan, it was a definite win. I followed it with the peanut butter stir fry with tofu and coconut rice - this was one of the most flavourful dishes I’ve had in a long time. The food was fresh and a bit spicy; we were very impressed. I am also super happy that the portion sizes were large enough that I have leftovers!! The waiter was attentive and answered any questions that we had. Definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back. Also, truly appreciate the number of vegetarian options.

Great Thai Food, at this point I would say the best in the city that I've found. Their coconut rice is also amazing! I really enjoyed their Pad Krapaw. When you ask for a 10 in Spicy you actually get a 10 which many places just can't seem to do. Staff is always friendly. They are open every day!

We were passing through Winnipeg and found this place. The food is extremely good. Very flavorful and some combinations I don't normally see. The owner was very nice. The place is small, limited seating and no washroom that we could see. But judging from the steady stream of take out and Skip , this is a hidden gem that people know about.
My fiancé and I decided to eat here after a long drive and omg this food was absolutely delicious! We had the spring rolls, the mango salad, red curry and yellow curry! The food tastes like heaven, the portions are big and the cook is an angel with a beautiful heart♡ She cooks with so much love, care and joy!! Thank you for the service and energy. This was the best Thai place ever!

I truly don’t believe you can find better Thai food in the city than Shaba Thai. The green curry soup is to die for, and a very very large portion. For me, it’s enough to take some home for lunch the next day! Service is wonderful and it’s beautiful to see them so busy because they truly deserve the business. Even with pick-ups constantly coming in, there was no delay in receiving our hot meals. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!
