Shelly's Indigenous Bistro

Place has been closed for what seems like months now. I don’t plan on going there at all anymore, keep going just to see it’s still closed. Plus it seems like it’s not really Indigenous owned or have Indigenous workers there anymore. Such a disappointment.

finally got to try shelly indigenous bistro. Omg soo delicious. we ordered hamburger soup and bannok also regular poutine. everything was so good and filling. will be going back for more.. thanks so yummy.

Giving it 1 star because as a tourist I drove 40 minutes to get here just to see a sorry we are closed sign on the door

Went all the way down there to get a couple of specials and they were sold out already at 5 pm. Never going back.

Had a bison quesadilla (today’s special) and a potato soup with (baked) bannock to go. I called ahead for a pick up. The atmosphere was nice everyone was smiling and working away. Coming from a kitchen background. This was a nice thing to see and I was eager to try my food when I got back to my airbnb. My first time coming and wasn’t disappointed. I am already looking forward to coming back. Miigwech :) ps I ate everything before I could take pictures.

Soup and bannock slaps, they catered our event and everybody loved the food. The bannock is like a cross between a bannock and a biscuit. Very satisfied

This place is the real deal. Homemade, handmade, fresh, and delicious food at this little takeout place. I visited yesterday for the first time, and the two people behind the counter were extremely welcoming and helpful in deciding what to try. They were awesome. I really liked the pork spring rolls, but that star of the show was the bannock with the homemade blueberry jam. That jam was such a treat! Definitely give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.
