Normally, we loved this place, but after today, we will not be ordering here again. We got three bannock tacos, and all were ice-cold, so we had to throw them out. The chicken-fried rice came super greasy and was inedible. We also ordered a large soup, but it was missing from our order. We are very disappointed and feel that we wasted our money due to unprofessional food handling and the risk of getting sick.

i order from here a lot and my order is always packaged perfectly, with good sized containers & huge portions ?the food is always sooo good and definitely worth the price!haven’t gotten a chance to visit in store yet but im planning on it this summer. i can’t wait ?im so happy to have a restaurant like this in the city lol! whenever im craving fried powwow comfort food, i come here. <3

Ordered off Uber. Ordered the pepperoni pizza special based on reviews of the crust being “crunchy like a cracker”, and some of the “best pizza in Winnipeg”. Honestly the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Super thick, doughy, undercooked crust, minimal toppings covered by the cheese and sauce that tasted like it came out of a cheap can. I hate writing reviews like this, but save your money, I wish I had mine back. I hate throwing out food, but I don’t even want any of it at all, it’s basically inedible. Super disappointing how genuinely gross it was.

Visiting from Australia I was sooo impressed with the quality of food and the people working at The bistro. I tried Hamburger Soup. Perfectly cooked with the vegetables and meat complementing the broth. Outstanding. Delicious. The service was marvellous with a cook chatting and offering to taste the pizza additional to the order. A place that was exceptional in the provision of outstanding home cooked meals. Highly recommended. You will not be disappointed.

We ordered a few different items off Uber Eats. Boneless ribs, wings and pizza. Allllll were delicious. But, Uber Eats forgot to bring our pizza and when I contacted the restaurant I talked to one of the girls who offered to deliver on her way home as she was just getting off! That was beyond amazing for her to do that! Very happy with our experience at Shelly’s. Ohhhhh you HAVE to get the cheesecake on fry bread…..to die for!!!
Ordered from here for the first time this evening. I was very impressed. The food was delicious, the portions are a good size and reasonably priced. We tried the fried rice, chicken wings, hamburger soup and fried bannock. I look forward to trying more items from the menu next time.

I’ve been hearing good things about the food.. BUT.. My son was ordering this evening, so I told him to order 2 pc chicken and fries for me.. the chicken was so hard and very greasy..skin was greasy and burnt.. fries were greasy and hard, macaroni salad was too sweet.. anyway I didn’t eat it.. so you lost a customer this evening..
