I can’t believe we didn’t eat here sooner…Had we known how good the food and service is we would’ve been coming here a long time ago!My wife had the Baked Potato Soup and Baby Back Ribs (both were terrific) and I had the Prime Rib bones which were incredibly meaty, and the Caesar salad I started with was probably the best I’d ever had, so much so that I asked the waitress for the recipe and 2 minutes later the owner (Tony) brought it to our table, we had a lovely chat with him and told him he’d be seeing a lot more of us!

Unbelievably friendly owner and hospitality. First I was there I got ID'd which made me feel 1) very safe and 2) nice n young again!Some all red track suit street thug was all offended because he got asked for ID and he didn't have any. And look at that! No one got stabbed at a Portage Avenue bar that night! Win for everyone. Good job management.Food was 10/10, vibe was great and the owner and staff made the atmosphere really fun. Very reasonable pricing especially for the service and food you get. I went to a chain restaurant last week and yes the food was consistent but the 19 year old was scared to talk to humans, forget the refills!Highly recommended, real people, real service. Good job. Support local all the way!!

Feb 2024. Has gone way down hill the last couple years and prices have doubled. I always get the silver platter, used to be good loaded with everything. Went the last few times cheese isnt even melted, no toppings. Take some pride in your work cooks. Also manager never comes by table to see how things are going, refills take forever. Went downhill bigtimw

I visited this restaurant for the first time on February 17, 2024 and it was amazing. I had the prime rib steak with potato bacon soup, it was all cooked to perfection. My partner and I wanted a hot sauce that wasn’t a Frank’s Red Hot type of sauce. Owner, Tony came to our table personally and asked about what kind of hot sauce we were looking for and went to the kitchen and personally made us his own creation of a hot sauce made out of chilis and butter, which turned out fantastic! The service was great, our server was very friendly and attentive. The owner as well came and checked in on us and had a conversation with us before we left! This restaurant has made us return customers for sure!
