I wanted to try somewhere new. I googled 10 best Chinese restaurants in winnipeg. This one came up on a few different searches. The broccoli and pea dishes were fresh and great!! The noodles dishes were average, and there’s an odd spice …maybe nutmeg In the hot honey glazed veal.

ordered the dinner for 4 for take out and loved it! generous portion, tastes good and reasonably priced. will def order again :) The only thing we didnt like was the shanghai noodles. It was good, but they used udon noodles instead :(

I had a fantastic experience at this traditional Chinese restaurant. The food was full of flavor, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The fried rice was well-seasoned, the chow mein had the perfect balance of crisp and chewiness, and the deep-fried items were golden and crispy without being greasy.
The service was friendly and efficient. The only issue was that my mother has a shrimp allergy, and despite informing the staff, they mistakenly brought out a dish with shrimp. However, they quickly apologized and corrected the mistake.
Other than that, everything was excellent. I would absolutely return—I’ve been craving the food ever since! Highly recommend.

Was not disappointed. We ordered several dishes, and all were exceptional. The spring rolls were enormous, the biggest I have had, and for $2 each I believe that is good value for something homemade. They have a lot of options, which makes returning even more enticing so I can try more.
Good service, multiple seating arrangements, and ample street parking in the evening.

Our family has tried many restaurants in the past, each with one or two amazing dishes and the rest mediocre. Singyun is the only restaurant that has made our family with different tastes happy. They just seem to get it right every time.
My new favorite Chinese food in the city. Very glad I found this place, as some others in the city have been slipping.

This is a wonderful small restaurant, the family is kind and their food is delicious! It’s always fresh, the portions are generous and the restaurant is always nice and clean. I highly recommend, the prices are fair and you are guaranteed leftovers! My family will always be returning customers.
