One of the worst poutines I have had, the cheese is like rubber and was not good. I got two small poutines for me and my wife, after a couple bites of old potatoes and cheese we tossed both of them out. I hate wasting food, but we couldn't eat it. 32 dollars out the window.

The second I walked in, the place had this awesome, rock 'n roll vibe that made it feel like more than just a restaurant—it felt like an experience. The staff was welcoming and patient with my wide-eyed, first-timer questions. I went with the traditional poutine (wanted to do it right!) and grabbed a side of their smoked cheese curds.
Let me tell you, the hype is real. Those fries? Perfectly crisp and golden. The gravy? Rich, savory, and comforting. And the cheese curds actually squeak when you bite into them—which apparently is a very good thing. The smoked curds on the side were just next-level good—creamy, smoky, and addictive.
The portions were generous, the flavors unforgettable, and now I totally get why Canadians are so proud of this dish. If you're an American looking to try poutine for the first time, this is the place to do it. Five stars and then some!
ill start with the positives. the atmosphere of the place was pretty neat. the interior kind of reminded me of a modernized old diner, and the classic rock playing over the speakers was pretty neat. the service was good too, i just ordered fries and got them pretty quickly.
unfortunately, the actual food wasnt so great. the fries, while not awful, were incredibly bland. im not the type to like a lot of seasoning, but this was disappointing. i was given a few ketchup packets which helped a little, but it wasnt nearly enough.
overall, i was very disappointed

This was the worst experience at Smoke's ever. Its July and its incredibly humid and sticky in the restaurant. There was hardly anyone in there, but it still took over 10 mins to make a poutine? Only to wait in the gross atmosphere of the resturant to get fries that were WAAAAAAAAAY overcooked. So hard, every single bite. Do not recommend this hot garbage to anyone.
